Sami I'm not really showing yet and I'm 16 weeks on sunday... makes me feel like a fraud lol! Definitely pregnant tho! I have the pictures to prove it!!!
It's only if you REALLY know me and know I haven't been keeping much down that the "belly" suddenly takes a new meaning... suddenly people realise there IS a bump there... just...

I'm not showing yet - still in normal clothes and haven't put any weight on (I've lost 3lb:o ). Dh says he can tell my shape has changed, but noone else knows. I saw a friend of mine at the weekend who is due 2 days after me with baby no 2 (we didn't know each other was pg, so it was amusing) and she's in mat clothes.

I kept no 3 a secret until about 23 weeks. Am planning on announcing this one around Xmas hols (20 weeks). I thought you were meant to show earlier with subsequent babies

Thank poppyjoe... that makes me feel soooo much better ;)

*sigh* oh well it'll stop when it stops... it's just soooo tiring :(

Think I might call in sick tomorrow - sod 'em!

I have to say it is amazing how quickly you forget about it and I have not even had bubs yet! I found that micro chips were my saviour, a box a day. That and waffles. Sickness bands, ginger biscuits all failed and I was on medication for a while but it knocked me for 6 but it was better than being sick 17 times a day!

Hope you feel better soon, a lazy Friday is called for! :o

I'll bet you that you were on Cyclizine ;) Which is what I am on! Sicknessbands, ginger biscuits and all the other wives tales failed for me too... medication, eating little and often and avoiding driving and stress seems to be the best way forward... as with you the Cyclizine knocks me for six! I can't seem to get work to realise that if I drive anywhere I need to take them to control the nausea, but if I do that I can't drive because they make me drowsy! Catch 22!
And then I get stressed and tired and it's just a downward spiral... *sigh*
Glad I'm not the only one who gets knocked out by the drugs though and as you say it's better than throwing up x number of times a day... I still throw up but less than if I wasn't taking anything...

I think it was more the way that AM's OH stipulated this rule. I couldn't eat without a drink or go through 5pm to 7am without my yummy cranberry & blueberry! :D:rotfl:

    xx
You dont know my OH, it really is just easier not drinking, he's not the most understanding of people at the best of times.....

Sorry AM but that rings alarm bells with me. You shouldn't be scared of your OH or have to tiptoe around him. How is he going to react when the baby is waking him up for feeds?

  • Hello, Can i join you?!
Im due my 4th child on may 22nd.

like some of you I am being held back by sickness, its driving me mad. I've kept down 2 meals in the last week. I havnt mentioned it to a doctor or midwife, i think some medication could work for me... been hoping it would dissapear with me being 15 weeks now.
