Krystal I can't believe they haven't booked your scan yet - is that your 12 week scan???
Mine was booked nearly a month ago! Ok granted they tried to change it - but I made them change it back
Might try boiled sweets... anything really that might help!
Bought 2 pineapples today at Tesco which if I feel up to it later then I'll slice them up and stick them on the food drier so I can have pineapple crisps to munch on next week - mmmmmm pineapple crisps... Oh and might do some apples too...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Wow, how high tech are you? A food drier... I have to by my dried fruit from Holland and Barrat lol... Everton Mints have worked for me a couple of times over the past couple of weeks...
12 week scan will probably be arranged by the midwife during my booking in appointment... Or soon after it... I hope anyway!!
FG can't you get them in the supermarket? Tesco do them here but can't always find them...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Used to find them in every supermarket in Cheshire/Staffordshire, but down in Hampshire they are pretty elusive (as our beans in chip shops!).Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

LOL a food drier is the least of the tech side... Try 2 laptops + 2 work laptops, 2 Blackberries and 2 personal mobiles and a multitude of other gadgets.... we're a techie household - what can I say

phew, I've missed a lot in one day (decided it was best to go back to work before I went insane thorugh boredom).
Heather, massive congratulations!! It sounds like you had a wonderful birth at home to a big boy!! Gives us all hope that things often do go well!
Keelykat, as many others have said, Elliot is absolutely adorable. Lucky you having such a handsome man!!
Krystaltips and Mrs Tine, hubby came home yesterday and popped out to KFc for a fillet tower burger which I ate with gusto, well as much gusto as I could muster without being sick, and it was wonderful. Normally it would be gone in about 3 minuted but it must have taken me twenty.
Got my work colleague to tame his slight boy racer tendancies, and gently chauffer me to maccy d's for dinner where I managed a chicken sandwich and a few fries, and some super noodles this afternoon, not a full pack but still I'm quite happy. Feeling more positive today but am coming down with a cold so absolutely gutted. A cold without Lemsip?? Err whats that??
Off to Boots tomorrow for some of those travel bands - here's hoping they work. Ive been told they have to be really tight so going to opt for the childrens ones!

Ugh!
I'm JUST home, been hospitalised due to hyperemesis. Again, I'm THRILLED that this means my little sucker is in there and making their presence felt but I'm just dying to get to 12 weeks and have this stop. My Doctor said that most women with HG stop spewing around 14-15 weeks but that this could be me right through to the final throes. 8w1d today, having a scan on Monday.0 -
Poor you blotted, really hope the next few weeks fly by for you!!!
Tine I'm in the midlands so not quite close enough to pop by and borrow your drier I'm afraid... We're not so hi tech here... Although I think OH would be given half a chance... I was happy using a very old PC until it died and now get to play on hubbies lappy... Might get my own one day.... But I'm not bothered either way lol... Basically dehydrated from excessive vomiting? I'm a week or so ahead of you so can't tell you when it'll get better yet
Have they put you on cyclizine to control the nausea?
