I am really pleased that your scan went well :T :T brilliant that you got to see the heart beating. I find that image/sound soooo reassuring.

MFD - does bubba move around more for you when you are stressed??? mine does. it's like he is reminding me that he is there and he is more important than work so don't get stressed and just think good thoughts about him :D
I find my bump tightens sometimes when I'm stressed.

I'm on netmums, but obviously wont be posting as I've never had a MC., but just wanted to say what a nice idea.

    Thanks.

I missed our mc thread as I think we do have different fears to 'normal' PG women. But I still love being here as well as you 'normals' have a totally different perspective to offer which can help keep me sane!

    hi louise,

i think the best place you would get advice on this is on our pregnancy thread. a lot of the women on there have experienced the same as you (i haven't i'm afraid so dont feel i can comment really).

you should join in on the thread, its a great source of advice/information/FUN.

  • ooo lovely ok thank you :) ill head over there
  • Hello I am just after some advice really
I found out im pregnant on saturday, im approx 4/5 weeks pregnant, i have also starting having bleeding, well its not like bright red blood, but more of a mix like the start of a peroid.. i would of been due on on sunday? i have been to the doctor and he said to wait untill about 6/8 weeks as will be able to see heartbeat on a scan. Ive read about Implantation bleeding, so thinking it could be this.
Or that it could just be like a normal period.
Really i know i have to wait untill the "safe" time, but i was just wondering if anyone had any idea? or advice? or has experianced this before?

    Many thanks
    Louise

welll what a morning *breathes out!*

got enough luke warm water to have a shower and legged it to the bus stop (no point in driving as no parking available) only for the bus to be 15 minutes late! I just made it on time.

Everyone was very nice, but the midwife had said that it was generally women that attended the first 4 sessions and partners came to the last, evening session. Yep you guessed it - I was the only one on my own. :(

What really hit me though was that I could have a baby in only 7 wks and it be 'on time' and not premature  OMG!

After that we had a mad dash home to collect the car and off I went to the hairdressers (new placce - really great place so a good find). Now I'm treating myself to an hour online before having to do a mad dash clean of the house and packing effort as we have to be ready to leave the house at 5.45am tomorrow morning to be at the airport in time for our flight down south - yuck.

Oh and my cold is getting a bit better too. :D

AF - will fill you in about hypnobirthing etc when I get back from hols - I promise xxxx

r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this response :p
  • Well, I'm all showered and dressed waiting patiently for the MW and desperately hoping she doesn't arrive at 4pm!

    MW has just been! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

BP is slightly lower then yesterday so no action required until my scan next Tues :T (unless I get any headaches, dizzy spells or sharp pains in my chest!).

So glad all is well, Angela!!! :A

well you have had quite a day haven't you!!!!

no rush about the hypnobirthing :D

Enjoy your holidays :T and don't go too mad cleaning.

LouLee2008 - i'm sure someone will be along soon to answer your query, or read back a bit and there has been some discussion about bleeding. i think the thing is that the blood appears to be 'old blood' i.e. brown, and there can be implanation bleeding.

as i said though, someome with more experience will be along to guide you

Angela, really glad the scan went well, it's amazing the relief you feel when you see that little flicker on the screen isn't it!

Pickle, I would leave it as late as possible for the scan, the one I had with DD at 7+6 just looked like a pile of cells with a flicker in the middle... with the baby at 11+4 it looked like a baby, that was definitely better!

I've spent the day in bed, a friend took DD to school for me, I was heaving up all over the place and had one of those headaches that make you feel like your brain might pop out your temple if you move too quickly... Thankfully has passed somewhat, still feel really icky though...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
