I had my scan and our little bean has a heartbeat!!!! Im so pleased.

Ive had a right day so far tho.....had a full bladder as i was not sure what type of scan they would do and thought i could always empty it if need be....well, I was on my way to hospital and all of a sudden felt sick...said to my OH, Im going to be sick. He said we're nearly there....I said no, now. Bent over in the middle of the road and threw up....well im sure you will all understand, but as i had a full bladder, I wet myself. What a day.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Then I get home from hospital and im bleeding again. Not worried this time tho as it must just be something that is going to happen.

Hope your BP is down SB. Hope everyone has a good day and thanks for all the support over the last few days xx

Angela I totally understand!! whenever I think i'm going to be sick I have to leggit to the loo, not for the sick but so I don't wet myself!

Tinkerbell: I got my hubby this book its a funny non-scientific one that I also read and enjoyed.
I also got a miriam stoppard book that was aimed at 1st time parents so was for dads aswell as mums to be

  • SB - hope your BP is down today - maybe blue bump will be here and well settled in for Christmas??

Angela - so glad things went well...well the scan bit at least :p

2 bars of choccie a day is about par for the course for me at the moment - which really freaks my hubby out because before I was pregnant I wouldn't eat 2 bars a month...strange!

Off for a bath before I get ready to go into work (had a lie in this morning because I worked til quite late) - hope everyone is well.

MFD - does bubba move around more for you when you are stressed??? mine does. it's like he is reminding me that he is there and he is more important than work so don't get stressed and just think good thoughts about him :D

MFD: I'm glad your having a chillax!
AF: are you going to join her? (not in the bath obviously!)

Didn't say anything yesterday as I didn't think it was possible until I got my 12wk email today, but I'm convinced i felt bubba move twice yesterday i think it was turning over as I doubt a kick would be strong enough to feel this early. I still don't quite believe it tho!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I had to read that comment a few times to see what i was joining her in doing??? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i am trying but it doesn't always work. it's of course things that aren't in my control that i stress over which is annoying becuase i can't change it anyway.

i think i started feeling movement around 17/18 weeks but i wasn't sure. it was like a spinning sensation (not the butterfly that others mention). when i had my 20 week scan and the sonographer was saying how wriggly bubs was, i said no wonder i keep feeling this 'spinning'. she said it probably was bubs that i could feel
