It's just a support thread where we can discuss our fears without upsetting other PG women!

I don;t know if any of you are on netmums but it's great and there are loads of forums rather than just the one thread like on here.

    Skinty, the shoes are lush!
I thought your first pg would be around then as we had our bfp's on the same day (I think it was u anyway) I always think it feels a tiny bit easier when you think of the stat about the high %age of m/c that are because your body knows there is something wrong with the bean. m/c is an awful thing but I believe everything happens for a reason and everything will be fine for you this time round xx

you changed your avvy! Is that you?

Yes that was me. I do feel very different this time so I think probably things will be OK but I am still glad I am having an early scan.

yes its me:o on my wedding day.
I have to say this preg feels really different to last time and I'm not sure if its because when I was pg with Chris I found out at 9wks and hadn't been ttc so was just thinking I hadn't been looking after myself properly when symptoms started.
I felt so much happier after seeing the little bunch of cells on the screen and a flashing heartbeat. but have still been worrying much more but then that could be coz I had a bleed, its all so complicated this pregnancy lark!

  • Morning all :D

Hope everyone's feeling OK this morning. I don't think hubby can hide his excitement any more as he keeps on asking when we can buy books on pregnancy!

So apart from the Haynes one I'm going to get for him can anyone recommend some good ones?
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same

argh - my turn to rant today!

For some reason there isn't any hot water. I'm stuffed with the cold and look like a walking zombie - and have my first antenatal class at 9.30am!!!!

Well, actually the first one was last wednesday, but as we were away on holiday I couldn't go - at this rate it doesn't look like I'll be going to this weeks either........so mad grrrrrrrrr.

    Hiya

I think i've read every book on pg going!

I've bought Dr Lesley Regan, Pregnancy week by week which is factual and got good pictures - it's a good reference and hubbie likes it. Everything else I've borrowed from friends or the library. some are more like novels, others are factual - there are so many out there, most cover the same things, but in different ways or from a different angle, my best tip is to look at the library :D or spend a Long time in the bookshop :D

What's for you won't go past you
  • Morning all! Hope all goes well with Bp/mw today septemberbaby.

Good luck with the scan angela. x

Mrstine, hope you have a better day today.

Cazcoob - good for you getting a good nights sleep. I'm beginning to wonder what one of those feels like! Imagine a beached whale trying to get comfy at night, one leg/hip aches so I try moving to lay on the other side, but then kinda get stuck and have to do some strange rocking motion until the movement helps me roll over!! Oh well, I guess its just getting me ready for the sleepless nights! 2 days til EDD!

PS all your talk last night/today of choc means I may have to venture to Mr T on the way to collect DD from nursery later!

Wishing you all a good day! x
