Aww Feely that's not nice, I don't think some men can comprehend just how ill we can feel! Give him a kick up the bum and tell him it won't be forever! As for him saying it's 'your job' to cook and clean, ask him how much he is going to pay you to do it!
Steve's been fantastic, he's working his full week, plus he's on call every night and will be all weekend too. Think I'll get him the new Call of Duty game next month to show him how grateful I am.
This house is a tip too, it's clean but sooooo untidy!! I washed all the clothes from 4 suitcases, they are strewn in piles downstairs ready for the iron, but they are going to have to wait until I get the energy to do it (which could be 2014 the way I'm going lol)
Technically, it is my job to clean, seeing as I'm a housewife. He's just annoyed because I went straight from being incapacitated with depression to be incapacitated with morning sickness. I'm getting all the helpful comments of: "How are you going to cope with being a mother if you can't even cope with being pregnant" and similar things. Think I just need to accept that OH won't ever be the man I want him to be, and I'm pretty much in this alone. Hes finacially supportive, but ain't really supportive in any other way.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Ironing...? I.... ron.... ing.... nope - checked the dictionary in the Tine household and there ain't no ironing in it... I've heard of it though... I guess it's something that happens to other people...
Still sat in my bathrobe... guess I should go and contemplate putting on some clothes really :rotfl:DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Feeling you also have to remember that he's probabkly still pretty angry at the circumstances... And if you're 21 then I guess he's pretty young still too...
This isn't as straight forward as a much wanted pregnancy that both of you have been longing for and trying for... Have you suggested that the 2 of you go and get some councelling? I think you need to and he needs to work out his feelings about this pregnancy and decide if he wants to stick around. bear in mind that if what you said turns out to be true this this isn't his child - that ain't going to go away over night - and I'm sorry to say but things might get a whole lot worse before/if they get better... You're asking a lot of him at the moment and he's bound to be angry still. Until he sorts that out in his head he'll be on a rollercoaster ride emotionally...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! He's 35.
I've suggested relationship counselling, but he refuses. He won't accept any blame - everything is completely and totally my fault. Obviously, most things are my fault, but I don't think I'm completely evil like he seems to think.
Spoke to the Nurse who says to suggest he sees the carers support worker. Will recommend it tonight.
I just don't know what to do. I know he won't ever end the relationship, no matter how miserable we both are, so its all down to me really :-/Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Ooh, we could go to Pizza Hut and I could have potato skins.
I had the best dinner ever the other day - chips, pickled eggs, roast chicken and mushy peas, all smothered in loads of vinegar. Perfect! Could eat that three times a day at the moment.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Good luck, Heather!! :j Is it still all go for a HB? x
I really feel for you all with MS! I suffered terribly with Poppy but not at all this time. DH does most of the cooking (as I don't eat meat) and the smell of frying mince made me go green! He hasn't cooked it at all this preg just in case :rotfl:.
Right, after my little episode earlier in the week, today's task is to pack my hospital bag  but right now I'm having a little rest in bed....so can I join today's PJ club please?!

As I'm planning a HB, I look forward to hearing about your experience.
As for McD's cravings, I have had these too thing is I don't like McD's??!!! Just as well there isn't one anywhere near us at all
Potatoes are a favourite in r.mac's household too - yummy. Especially in the form of chipsbump is still small and compact and hoping that i can keep from binging on chips and cake too much so that I have a figure at the end of all this. Bump is very active at the moment though - so perhaps it's trying to tell me to pig out a bit more
SB - PJ club is essentialr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
