Yes it's easier to eat more if you haven't had to cook it when you're pregnant...
Last night I had SUCH a craving for McD... and I still fancy a BigMac so might have to brave a trip to the nearest McD which is a mere oooo 20-25minutes away :rotfl: Don't like BK unfortunately as there is one about 3 miles from me... typical LOLDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! AM have fun shopping today hun!
MrsTine, Last Friday after my scan, I had a craving for a Big Mac, so we went to a drive thru to get one lol
I hadn't eaten anything hot since Monday, but yesterday I just wanted a cheese and onion pasty ~ Steve brought 2 home for me yesterday afternoon, I wolfed them down, then had chronic heartburn all bloody night
The thought of raw food or food cooking knocks me sick, but I could murder a shop bought tuna mayo baguette right now lol!!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I'm managing to cook for OH, but living on shop bought sandwiches and potatoes myself!
I'm sure I can feel the baby moving you know.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Oh I can't cook full stop.
My Dad called yesterday to watch the England match, Steve is on call all week, so guess who cooked for the kids....Dadbless him!
I can't even make Sians lunch for school because I can't open the fridge! Soon as I open it, I can smell everything in it, even if it's still sealed ~ I was like this when I was having Jack, it's madness!!
How many weeks are you now Feely? I can't remember how far gone I was with Jack & Sian, before I could feel them move, it was so long ago now!
That reminds me having a joke with the midwife when I booked in. She asked me whether I wanted to go straight home (assuming everything was fine) after the birth, or whether I'd want to stay a night and day at the hospital.
I said, "Oh I'll stay if that's OK, I could do with a bit of peace" :rotfl: :rotfl: She laughed, but I explained that it's been so long since I gave birth and had a newborn to care for (just over 11 years!) that they couldn't send me straight home because I wouldn't remember everything that I had to do!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
13 weeks. Probably too early to feel the baby, but I'm sure I can! Its only a weird light 'flutter'!
To be honest, I'd rather not clean. But I have a husband who doesn't seem to think that morning sickness is a problem, and told me in no uncertain terms yesterday that I'm selfish and lazy and I should just accept that it is my job to cook/clean and get on with it.
Luckily I don't throw up that much, its mainly just nausea. Its awful though, despite trying everything. Even the Cyclizine doesn't really touch it!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
No the cyclizine will only take the edge off it I'm afraid
I've now goen down to 1 50mg pill a day - I can feel the difference but I'd just rather take as few drugs as at all possible!
House is a tip - really must get round to getting that cleaner I keep harping on about :rotfl: DH works such long hours by the time he get home that he barely has the energy to cook (actually... last night we had kebabs! very very very naughty!)
Keep debating if i should make an attempt at going to town (where there is a McD) and stop by Tesco for bits and pieces... feel like I ought to make a bit of an effort for dinner for DH... he's been so good really bless him...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! when i was suffering ms i lived on mashed potatoes and baked beans. yum yum.
well this is it girls baby is on its way! started contracting at 5am, mw just been and i'm 2cm dilated but my waters are bulging out of my cervix so could go at anytime. she said that i should ring 999 if they go coz it might be really quick after that and she might not get here in time for the delivery! sat here on a pampers bed mat!
not sure if i fancy a bath or a walk but want it to be over now as i'm 5 days over and fed up.0 -
Aww Feely that's not nice, I don't think some men can comprehend just how ill we can feel! Give him a kick up the bum and tell him it won't be forever! As for him saying it's 'your job' to cook and clean, ask him how much he is going to pay you to do it!
Steve's been fantastic, he's working his full week, plus he's on call every night and will be all weekend too. Think I'll get him the new Call of Duty game next month to show him how grateful I am.
This house is a tip too, it's clean but sooooo untidy!! I washed all the clothes from 4 suitcases, they are strewn in piles downstairs ready for the iron, but they are going to have to wait until I get the energy to do it (which could be 2014 the way I'm going lol)Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
