Well I've just had the most enormous jacket potato filled with cheese, onion and cucumber. I'm so glad I made that before reading all these posts about BK, McD's etc...
In the early days all I could eat was junk food. I am glad to say though I have got my appetite back for healthy food over the last week or two, I am 19wks today, which is good as I am trying to follow Slimming World still. I am quite please as I have only gained 11lbs so far so hopefully I won't put on the mammoth amounts I did with my other two. (4st & 3.5st)

    Good Luck Heather.

I've just had chicken noodle soup with some buttered bread ~ I feel soooooo much better now!!

Talking of Maccy D's, when I was pregnant with Jack (so 1995/96), I joked that I wanted Maccy's brought to the hospital because there was NO way I was eating hospital food.

Had Jack, sat in ward waiting for visiting hours.......

In walks my Dad with a HUGE Bert & Ernie balloon and a Bag stuffed with McDonalds!!!!! (Big Mac, fries, nuggets)

OMG I didn't know where to put my face, I didn't think anyone would really bring it :rotfl: :rotfl:

To make matters worse, I didn't eat it as I wasn't hungry (was still on a high), so ex OH scoffed it while the other Mums on the ward were watching him, almost crying and drooling :rotfl: :rotfl:

shellsuit having tasted hospital food i wouldn't blame you demanding McD ;)

Just had one of my cunningly hidden microwave pizza's (Chicago Town) and now feel less hungry but back to yucky again - drat!!!!

Mmmmm might have to have another satsuma just to help - but what i really want now is a glass of milk and I've drunk it all! :'(

Can't even go to the shops as waiting for a phonecall from work about maternity etc and safety at work and yadda yadda yadda... which was supposed to have been at 1, then moved to 2pm... and it's now nearly 2:30... I'm NOT impressed...

I've had a busy day... Actually left the house for longer than the school run today and went to town... Had a very healthy jacket potato with coleslaw for lunch... But was thinking of BK bacon double cheese burger... Wish I'd bought one to bring home!

Incidently, we don't eat McD's for ethical reasons... I'm sure BK ethics aren't really much better but until someone shows me actual evidence I will continue to feign ignorance...

Off to sleep now, am sooo tired... That's what leaving the house does for you...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Staying at home ain't much better Krystaltips :)
Officially back at work tomorrow although working from home - the speed HR and H&S work at it's a good job my line manager is nice and understanding! Still no word of when my safety assessment will be although the HR girl I spoke to today about my benefits etc was very helpful and agreed that to be honest it would be best if where possible I worked from home and only went to site for monthly review meetings and if there is a major outage which requires site attendance. So with luck 3-4 site visits a month instead of a week... and no need to be in the office unless I have a meeting. So at least I hasve their support on that one... alternatively I'll try and push for them to put me on full paid suspension due to safety - I'm capable of doing 99% of my job - just not 1% of spending up to 18-20 hours in the car a week plus a day on the train and tube fighting through London... It's not essential for my job so they should be cool with it :)
