FG - My due date changed from LMP (21st April) to 22nd April at 6 week scan, 20th April at 10 week scan and now back to 21st April again. Only explanation was that in the early days the fetus is curled up so an accurate CRL (crown to rump length) measurement is just a guide but as your progress they can get a more accurate measurement.
Astroming - I guess that because I am 36 I'm at a higher risk of a baby with Downs anyway but still can't understand why it's not a routine part of the antenatal scans provided by the NHS!
I'm so tired again it's such a pain. I phoned the docs to see if my blood test results from last week were back and maybe borderline anaemic but they're not back yet a week later!

I try and have at least one meal a week with lentils in - lentils are even better for your iron levels than meat
I have a vegetarian friend and when she went to ante-natal classes it turned out her iron levels were better than any one elses because of the amount of lentils etc they eat - she was well chuffed lolDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

The MW's have always commented on how good my iron levels are and I'm veggie too. I know some of my friends have had to have iron tablets which have caused horrid constipation! :eek:0

I worked out my EDD by LMP to be 20 December but the 12w scan showed 17 December and that is the date that has continued to be used at all my appointments, despite having 2 scans since showing a few days variation.
I'm not taking any notice anyway judging how comfy Poppy found my womb! :rotfl:0 -
I never had iron problems with DD until she was born but it was more blood loss related... The iron didn't constipate me but it made everything a funny colour!
I can't eat lentils... Or beans... or peas... It's a texture thing... Can't stand jelly either but that's a different kind of texture...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I've just hired a doppler!!
£9.95 a month ~ there are cheap versions you can buy for around £20, but this one looks better and you can keep it as long as you like so long as you pay £9.95 for any further months. (If interested, look on eBay for 'doppler hire')
Can't wait until it comes to have a play with it, then I can stop stressing about the baby!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Krystaltips I think thet you are my tastebud twin! BK anything would be good right now but especially a double cheeseburger ooooh its a 5 mile drive to my nearest BK
I'm just working myself up to my bacon buttie now but I think i've left it too long and i feel so sicky.
I also hete beans and stuff (so powdery), but frozen garden peas I could eat until the cows come home (hopefully in the form of a BK!) and they have loads of iron in so I will use that as an excuse to eat even MORE yum yum.
Went to my grandma's last night for tea, couldnt bear to cancel cause she would just ask questions, and she made me he biggest plateful of peas, carrots, mash and braising steak, oooh it was good. I actually surprised myself on how much i ate. I think its better if I haven't been around when the food is being prepared. Its like all the time ur smelling the food, its as if ur eating it and by the time u actually eat it you feel full. God knows if that makes any sense!0
