I completely understand how you feel Kathy! I'm 17+2, and because I've got a bit of extra padding, I don't have a noticeable bump! I definitely feel heavier and bigger. I'm spending most of my time in pajamas!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

this is all normal
i spent many a night in tears after hubby went to work (works nights) for no reason other than the fact i wanted to cry and just felt crappy.
the way i looked at it though (and also the constant feeling sick) was that baby was being strong and deciding to hang around which is the most important thing for all of us.
good idea about occupying your mind by doing something else. i didn't sign up for freebies until after 12 weeks but it is a personal choice for everyone, and we are all different.
the babycentre.co.uk website is good as is their emails which you get each week telling you different things about your pregnancy at that stage (thank MFD for this tip).for those that are wondering the manc baby show is at what everyone knows as the G-mexwhy must people insist on changing things names! think i'll go eat some opal fruits and a marathon now - lol!

you wont fall asleep at Lee Evans. hubby went last week and said it was fantastic, a lot better than he expected.
good luck with your scan. i struggled to take in the fact that it was 'my' baby that i was looking at on the screen and not a picture of somone elses (maybe that's just me)0 -

Hiya ladies,
Just a quickie. Been to see midwife this morning for 24 week check. Measuring fine and heartbeat strong which is good.
Ask MW about my extra consultant appointment (I have one on 1st December that 'normal' people don't have) and apparently it is because I was having heart fluttering at the beginning of my pregnancy and they want to keep an eye on me.
- whoever it was that was having palpitations - have you got them checked out yet??
Next MW appointment for 28 weeks where she wants some more of my red stuff (I think they are trying to clone me!)
Hope everyone is well - slscarborough and greent hope your appointments went well. (and AM - were you going today too?)
Good luck for your scan sami!
lwcus - glad everything turned out in the end and that you are both doing well.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Good luck with the scan sami...
I have a complete fear that this is going to be a twin pregnancy too...Dont know why. Just a quick note about a conversation yesterday re early scans. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and asked for one as I had a pregnancy two years ago and when i went for the scan the sac was empty. No bleeding, still sore boobs etc. She said they policy was not till 3 miscairages but if i was to tell her id had a small bleed or a pain, then she would arrange one....now she said im not telling you to lie but how would i know if you'd had one.
Just thought it might be useful for a few on here too if that is the policy where they are....havent done it yet tho...feel a bit bad xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090
