I'm kinda feeling the need to take vitamins just in case I haven't got enough in me already - I'm only skinny anyway and I'm worried I don't have enough stored already! I'm not even sure if it works like that (probably not!) but it would make me feel better and it can't do any harm! :)

re vitamins: if i should be taking them, i would hate to think i wasn't doing the right thing. i was taking calcium supplements before i fell pregnant but the doc asked to my to reduce the dose by half when i said i was TTC or was pregant (can't remember at what point).

went and looked at prams today. i have confused myself even more so now. i still have a few 'must have' requirements, but i'm confused again. also wondering about jan sales. not sure what i am looking at would end up in the sales though to be honest.
  • well the morning sickness has started or more like all day nasuea as i havent actually been sick just feel sick all day long, the only thing that seems to settle it a bit is drinking bottled cherry coke but i know caffiene isnt great while pregnant, and i work with food all day which is making me feel sick arrgghh

    Yay!

AF - if you are still looking at the M&P pram I hear that their sales are pretty good - my SIL made this mistake a few years ago and was kicking herself (another March baby).

I am not planning on buying anything until the sales - I am keeping my eyes open for the best prices for what I am looking for and if what I want is not in the sales then I haven't lost anything.

AM - to be honest you can get measured this week and have changed again in a month so I wouldn't spend too much if you can help it. In my experience anywhere other than M&S (who once told me that I was a size bigger and when I asked whether it was band or cup size they said it didn't matter - as long as I went up one size in one of them!!!)

mirrorimage - I sucked polos all day long and that seemed to take the edge off.

Am depending on your size normally but I'd recommend bravissimo. The girls know their stuff and make sure you tell them you're pregnant because the way they measure you and what size they give you does differ if you are pregnant. I went up a lot in back size to allow room for the belly expanding but also in cupsize. I've been told to go back in nearer to the due date for nursing bra. Make sure you tell them how far along you etc because it does matter... most places at best only size you as you are there and then, not on how your body is likely to change during pregnancy :)

  • I take Pregnacare every day as, lets face it, I know my diet is not as tip-top as it should be and I'm eating what I fancy! :rotfl:. I'm also a veggie so take them for my own peace of mind :D.

I second what Caz says about the carrycot business. My SIL bought the Loola and never once used the carrycot as it was too bulky in her car. Its still in their dining room now and my nephew is 10m!. The Silver Cross I have adapts to what looks like a carrycot type:

    Silver Cross

But then adapts to pushchair mode when baby is older.

I'm so glad I don't have to make all these expensive decision this time around! We have decided to have two pushchairs when this baby is born. Most of the doubles won't fit in my Punto and its extremely rare that I'm out alone with Poppy (bizarre I know!) never mind 2 babies  so we are getting this one for her after reading all the fab reviews:

    Petite Star Zia

And new baby is going in the Silver Cross :T.

Hope everything turns out well, Krystal.

And isn't it the most wonderful feeling, MFD?! :D

I need to buy at least 2, I'm a 38E normally so cant pick up any from places like primark, I usually buy freya ones from ebay as I know my size but the cups are way too small now.

Yep they have shops - I usually go either to the one in Oxford or the new one in Milton Keynes - check their website I'm sure it must have a list of shops there :)
