If anyone is interested in the Silver Cross Classic pram, with the proper wheels - have a look at this;-

This is the one i wanted from when I was first pregnant - but I couldn't justify the price. It hadn't found it for less than £450.00, whereas the Silvercross 3d was pretty much the same pram but with little wheels for around £300.
Anyway, I found this on Friday, for £299 including the car seat!! I emailed Kiddicare to check its correct (theres a bit of confusion in the product description!), and they emailed back that yes, this is the one, with these wheels, that would be supplied.
There were 40 left yesterday morning when we ordered ours - its down to 22 now.
I still can't quite beleive it - i'll let you all know if the right one turns up on Tuesday.
Well, 13 weeks to go now and we've got most of what we need - all she needs now is a name that we both agree on!:beer:0 -
Oh, another question.. Is anyone taking a multi-vitamin? I'm taking folic acid and I know I can't have a usual multi-vit but I stumbled across the Multibionta which I used to take (ages ago, only on and off as I remembered) and recalled that they used to make me feel a bit more lively. I know taking them isn't an excuse to not eat 5-a-day but I thought I might track down a preg multi-vit too for an extra boost. Any recommendations, anyone?0

Hi welcome lou and congrats..
Elle Pregnacare have everything in them you would be able to take whilst pregnant, inc the folic acid, so if you feel the need to take a vit go for them and drop your separate folic acid.
Felling quite happy as have realised I have not too much left to buy, although I do need a chest of drawers, might try the local paper for those as furniture seems to be sooooo expensive.
I have also bought my two boys their main pressies for christmas too (psp's) I have no idea what else to get them tho....It is going to be strange next christmas having to buy baby toys again hehe

Hi elle!
I started taking the pregnacare plus - you get 2 blister packs, 1 green which is the usual pregnacare and one pink, which was fish oils!! The actual pregnancare tabs I was fine with but the others made me hurl!
To be fair, I wasn't very good at taking either and still have a load left
Welcome ladylou!
It is so miserable here - the weather is stinking! I have just been to B&Q to take advantage of the 15% off - mum and dad have kindly volunteeredto wallpaper my living room and dining room the weekend after next so I have been buying wallpaper and got my husband a stripper whilst I was there

hi guys thanks for your advice. The travel advice i read says its ok to travel early PG, Goa is not a high malaria risk, has a great developed hospital and i will be fully insured, but i will def check with my MW and doc on monday.
MSE: just found some fab non underwired support bras from asda only £6. I have been in agony the last few days and even have to wear a bra at night cos i get so sore. so i was able to buy a couple (2 sizes up i may add!!!) perfect for PG girls:j  :j0 -

Not sure about a 'great developed hospital' Nicole - depends where you will be I guess. I was there about 2 years ago and the nearest hospital was nearly 2 hours away on the most horrendous roads (or should I say the most horrendous driving). And to be fair, the term developed over there is not one that equates to what we have over here.
God - sounding negative again!! Have you been to Goa before? Do you know what you will be expecting?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Weather here is rough too - keep turning the tv up to hear it over the rain!
I've been making twink's hobnobs - they're in the oven now. I needed something to snack on
Also taking some round to my grandparents this afternoon. They are getting a new three-piece suite soon and were just going to give their perfectly good one (albeit too big, they say) away to a charity shop. I'm all for charity, but the money saver in me just couldn't resist telling them to sell it and at least get something back for it. Grandad phoned me last night and said if I came to take photos of it and sold it on "that e-bay thing" then we could keep however much we get for it! It's a very good quality suite so I'm thinking at least £300! I've told him I'll see how much I get for it, then we'll sort out splitting the money - they don't know about this pregnancy yet and I don't want them feeling like they should give me it all for the baby (which they will) so I'm keeping quiet for the time being!
Thanks for the info on Pregnacare, mel and MFDDo Tesco stock it? Might call in on my lunchbreak tomorrow.
