MSE Pregnancy Club III

Hiya Everyone,

I wanted to say hi as I've just found out I'm pregnant. Basically we have been trying since christmas with no luck, bought some pre seed last month used it and voila its here. I'm in shock at the moment I think. Full of tummy pains, got a horrid cold and can't sleep because I'm so excited.

I've been reading the money saving forums for years but never posted until now, felt now was the right time as this is our first baby and I don't want to tell everyone till 3 months so had to spill the beans somewhere hehe. Also I'm so nervous as I don't know whats going to happen next, where to go or what to do. I lost my mum when I was 15 so haven't got that mumly insight into all of this. I'm hoping this thread is going to be a big help!

Anyway hope everyone is doing well at whatever stage your at :j

I'm newly preg too (5+2 today). Do you know how far along you are?

Hi, I'm sure you will find lots of freebies on the Freebies Board but a while ago I did post links here to lots of the clubs I have joined on this thread. I'm off out now (for lunch and xmas shopping with DH! ) but will try and find it tonight.

I'm guessing around 4/5 weeks, not to sure how to check your due date. Will the doctor tell me do you know?

Do you know the date of the first day of your last period? I think the rough calculation is add seven days then nine months - mine was 3rd Oct so add seven days (10th Oct) plus nine months, makes it 10th July.

Sami-Bee - I am now a mum but my friend is pregnant and I was asking on her behalf, so I think I am in the right place, but I will look at your link later for my own benefit.

Thanks for that I'm due on the 17th July its says, thinki I've got the right date but I know it was around 9/10th October. It seems so far away!

Last night we had chicken korma (made of fresh chicken breasts and a Patak jar of sauce). We've got some left over and I was really looking forward to having it today (it's my new latest fad!), but now OH has just reminded me the midwife said I'm not to have reheated pork or chicken (but can eat them cold) - I think it was the risk of listeria. Do you think this rules out the curry? This midwife said it, but the one last time didn't *sulks*
