I don't know about OH, I haven't asked him! I was showing him pictures in my book, he couldn't believe how big the baby is. Then he noticed that the womans boobs got bigger in each picture. Men!!

  • I'm back!

Midwife was lovely, an elderly lady in a pleated skirt who was very chatty and friendly.

Everything is normal, and I heard the heartbeat! Was very emotional.

No appointments now till the Consultant in December.

Yay, so glad it all went well :D and you heard the hb!!! :T

    sounds about right :D

i like not knowing what i am having, although i can understand and appreciate why people find out. when i am in shops and look and blue and pink things and wonder which ones i would need, i then want to know, but that soon passes for me

that reminds me, i'm going to phone my local asda to see if they have any bounty packs instore. i wanted to get mine there instead of boots because you get a voucher, i thought it was £5 off baby stuff, but more than happy if it would be the kind of voucher you have said about.

AF, the Bounty booklet that I initially received from the mw, which had the coupon for the Mum to be Essentials pack, also had attached the free Huggies box coupon.

Inside the Mum to be Bag should be £5 Asda Baby voucher as long as you collect it from them.

I havent been given anything about the bounty pack, I did ask mw at booking in which was in Oct 6th but she said you get that later probably at hospital.

Didnt think to say at scan although maybe not the time and place anyway. Can you get this elsewhere?

  • Is anyone going to the Baby Show in Manchester? DH and I went to the one in Birmingham a few months ago and the goodies and freebies were so fantastic that we're going again! :D We both received Bounty bags there too, along with more Asda coupons :).

Candice, you get different packs at the hospital after having your baby. Have a look here:

    http://www.bounty.com/packs/

The mw usually gives you the first 'wallet' information pack at your booking in appointment which has the coupon for the Mum to be Essentials one to be collected at Asda/Boots.

However, when I registered online with Bounty they mailed me another coupon for a Mum to be pack so maybe you could try that?
