I've never heard of it being hereditary, luckily for you!
God I'm watching "the family" and weeping over the wedding, I'm a touch jealous as my "big" day was considerably smaller than that (only cost about £750 - very MSE!)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

I wish we were still a sticky.

Well last night hubby and I chose the cotbed we want - so I have between now and March to find it at the best price possible

Hope everyone is well this morning.

    Morning all,

    Hi MFD

Why aren't we a sticky anway??? I got back from holiday last month to find that we weren't.

Ohhh check you making a decision  no, all kidding aside, well done :D

I can't get my hubby to help make decisions on anything.

He is going to be in for a shock in a few months when all this hits him that we are actually having a baby. He had said to me early on that he heard on the radio a guy say that it didn't actually hit him as a realisation that his wife was pregnant until she was about 8 months gone. Hubby said 'i think i'm going to be like that'. Well he has 3 months before his realisation hits and there's no turning back :D

We have a cotbed that baby No1 just finished using at 4 1/2... It's now in pieces leaning up her bedroom wall waiting for a space to appear on our bedroom floor to put it... 6 months to clean up... and hopefully redecorate! On the dowside, we also have the matching changing unit but DD managed to snap the front off today, no idea how she's managed it but it's 2 screws broken cleanly off!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I stupidly chose a cotbed without drop down sides for some unknow reason!  (well, I do know actually - it has teddy bears on it and thats the theme of the nursery! :rotfl:). It wasn't a problem at all until she started sitting up and the mattress had to be lowered......and now my big bump also gets in the way .

  • Apparently the MW forgot to book me in for my homevisit yesterday  which would exlain why I waited in for 8 hours and no one turned up!

Oh dear, I hope that you are first on her list when she arranges to come and see you next!!!!
  • I spent £800 on a nursery suite with my eldest and I cringed after he was born when i realised how much cheaper I could have done it all, but it's lasted through three children so far and the cotbed is in use for my 18 month old and will probably be used for this baby too. Mine wasn't a drop side and I actually preferred that because my little !!!!!!s are too clever for their own good and would be able to get out!
  • We have managed to get a cot promised to us which has done the rounds but is in good cond originally from mothercare. Would love to start looking(and buying!!) but at 12+3 think its maybe too early??

Also have to do some serious damp prevention in our house before decorating, I hate old thick walls they dont work with radiators and double glazing!!

Had a few palpatations last 2 days do you think it could be preggers related?

I had docs appointment this morning and they registered the pregnancy. I was surprised but i have two midwife appointments next week. One on Tuesday and one on Thursday. The doctor didnt think they would need to carry out any additional tests given my age.

I didnt think i'd get a midwife appt for ages never mind two in one week x
