Gosh - you've had a busy year haven't you

nice to see you on here. lots of good tips and some crazy gossipy chatter as well to keep us from getting mushy babybrain and boring all our non pg friends - or that's the idea anyways.

yup, our first and I'm due mid July - so still very early.

It's taken 5 tests and a little bit of vom vom to make be believe that I am pregnant.! Still hasn't sunk in yet and we got our first BFP last Friday!

We plan to tell my folks this weekend as we are going on a trip to Scotland with them. WE want to limit the people who know to just mum and dad for now - just in case. We are telling them because we know they will be great support for us in good or bad circumstances!

I am so excited, it's all I'm thinking about at the moment!

Hehe, its great isn't it LP! It might not sink in for a while. I still get a shock when they tell me its still in there!

Hello gorgeous, I've been meaning to reply to you, but I've been away from MSE for quite a few days really...just come back to half a ton of PM's - and been working my way through them..!

Here's a fun question for you then.... how did you tell the new grandparents to be???

We came in and sat down as normal. My Mum offered me a Pate Sandwich, and said I'd rather have a cheese one. Sat down and ate it and did all the normal catching up. Afterwards, I said 'Oh, I've got something' and handed her the folded scan picture. She looked at it, looked at me, looked back at, then walked out of the room. She came back with glasses on and continued to look at it for another couple of minutes. Then she said, "You're not?!" and I said "I am, thats our baby!". She sat there in silence for about 5 minutes, until my Dad poked her and she realised she hadn't congratulated us. Then she started asking loads of questions and digging out baby books and planning what pram to get!

I remember you from lurking around the ttc thread. Good luck with the pregnancy, they are all lovely ladies in here and they have made me feel very welcome.

BTW, Angelfairy - I always read your sig as saying "I'll love you till my leg hairs grey!!??" - I will blame my baby brain!!:rotfl:
