My OH is still having trouble bding at the moment, i think he is too worried about money, but my work has improved and should be sorting out a retainer tonight or tomorrow, so that should help him relax a little. I am not worrying too much yet because he said he really wanted a baby next October, so christmas or jan and he better sort his head out for then!
Oh well, lets see if we can have some fun over the next couple of weeks?
Baby dust to all
I think my OHs problem with BDing is to do with his other stresses too. His self esteem is at an all time low, he's currently dieting (lost an amazing 2.5 stone since August) and thinks he's "fat and ugly". No wonder he has no confidence in BDing or becoming a father. Sometimes I think we forget about how sensitive our men folk can be:o
Good luck all2009 total raised £2373.60:jthe new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
2013 - twins now 14 mths old - lets get sorted!

Oh bless him! Yeah we have to remember that the men are human too:rotfl:
2.5 stone since august?!?!?! Thats fantastic!!!!!!! My OH is trying to lose a bit of weight aswell but i don't think he's weighed himself as of yet so I'll have to ask him when he gets in.

i feel very embarrased to say that i did a test... oppps. it was negativ but it didnt really bother me as i really was expecting it, being the first month of trying. so im going to make myself a hot choc with baileys in it
i dont know why clintons was selling terramundi pots but my baby one i bought is gorgeous! it has little colourful rattles and things on it with baby fund written in lilac glitter with a little paragraph on the back saying this is to save for little things something something! at 8 pounds i had to have it! if i can find one online ill send you all the link..0 -
djdymond, don't be embarassed that you took a test. I'm sure we've all done it! I'm making myself wait till Monday which is when AF is due (and we also go on holiday that day too) but it is so tempting to test! Off to Center Parcs next week so if it's a BFP then no spa for me! Not actually sure what I will do but will worry about that Monday if needs be.
Off to Clintons today to look for Terrimundis as I haven't bought that one on eBay yet. Showed OH and he thinks its a great idea too.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Thanks Cedrickerry, I agree our men are human too and life affects them, sometimes more than us!;)
Well we were successful at bding last night, so OH was very pleased and relieved with himself. All better, just got to convince him that life is good i suppose.
I am going to pop into town today, so may look at clintons and terramundi pots, sound like such a good idea, we have pots of pennies and 5ps but i raided them last month when we needed eggs and sugar for baking! So this way i will not be able to raid it!
Baby dust to all, and lets all pamper our OHs i think they deserve it this weekend!Leopardlady

Oh and another quick reminder that OV sticks are only 99p for 5 in Savers at the moment, they're still marked up on the shelf edge as £2.99 or £2.49 but go through at 99p!:j0

Morning all :hello:
Well AF is due today and it's very unusual for me to be late (i'm normally early if anything). No symptoms apart from boobs feeling huge which is strange as they are tiny so have never felt this before:rotfl:
We'll see what happens;)Mummy to Oliver - 28/10/09

I am an addict as well... I even check this from work (now!)
My temp did rise again this morning, and my cervix is open. As I had my OPK positive on Tuesday, I might be ovulating any time! We are still on with SMEP, and did BD last night, and the plan is to do it tonight as well. Depending on my temps and other signs, we might continue BDing Friday and Saturday as well, not to do a day-off after the 3 consecutive days after positive OPK... Oh, fingers crossed, it would be fantastic Christmas present!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Good luck to Lita and enjoy the bding ginvzt
