I am worried that my weight may be a problem. I have always been over weight even as a child and my father is very big, but i am now still the same weight as i was when i was 9 months pg with my ds nearly 4 years ago. I look exactly the same now as i did then as i didn't have a baby bump at all beause of my weight. I am nealy 15 stone.
I don't eat badly, go swimming every week and have been on 2 different weight loss tablets from the doc but nothing works. When i do get pg i dread what the midwives will say about my weight as while i was in labour they said something horrible about me having an over hang as they called it and that i won't ever be able to get rid of it now. Even my doc has called me fat so that's when i said well help me then. He shoved a script in my hand and that was that.
And now i am getting a cold!This is my signature!0 -

Although you weight does effect your chances of getting pg its only one factor in equation, after all there are lots of women who aren't the sterotype ideal weight getting pg.
If your weight is worrying you, then find a more helpful doctor and ask for help, my mum changed her doctor this year after years of being classed as morbidly obese and now with her new doctor help and a special diet you has lost 4 stone this year.

Anyone had something similar after a ERPC? I have no clue (looked in TCOYF and you can ov and your body just doesn't react to the progesterone, but my temp shifted when I ov'd before??)
Hi Lizziebell
I am not sure if you can have AF without ovulating but from others experiences looks like you can - perhaps you did OV the shift was less noticeable on the thermometer this time?
I was warned my first AF would be heavier than usual after my ERPC and it did turn out that way - AF started off quite light and then got quite heavy and longer in length than it would normally be - sorry TMI alert!0 -

Good afternoon ladies
I'm feeling a tad stressed today...been trying to sort everything out for my DMP and i've got an Avon party this Saturday, my first one and I am so scared!! I am not prepared one little bitI'm supposed to be doing a raffle, lucky dip, quiz etc  I'm not even sure anybody will turn up and I can see me losing a bit of money with the raffle, food, drink etc.
My sciatica is killing today so I can't do a big clean out like I was going to

Hi Claire,
Welcome to the board.
Mothercare do a nursery saving fund but you would probably be better putting the money in a instant access savings account where you can earn some interest.

hiya
id say put it into a savings fund too, that way your not limited to one shop, and youll gain interest
i have a baby fund terramundi pot i bought in clintons for 8 pounds. every 2 pound coin i get goes in there and theres even a couple of notes in there too..0 -
thanks everyone!
i am looking to buy a terramundi (but i wont want to break it) so im using a old sweet jar at the moment for the baby fund0
