    Hi becs.

I am on my second cycle of using the Clearblue fertility monitor and if I am honest I am only using it because I am on a clinical trial so get the monitor and sticks free.
I just couldn't have afforded it otherwise. I think what put me off buying it is they say that if you have any sticks left over one month, you shouldn't use them up the following month, you should bin them.
I'm getting on ok with it, I'd recommend it if you can afford it.

I don't know if using a Persona monitor would work out much differently price wise? Just use it the way it wasn't intended to be used :D

I've just unwrapped mine, but haven't started using it yet.

The instructions for mine say that you should try to test all from the same batch, but that if the machine asks you for more than 10 tests in a month, then its fine to use some from a different batch (as they come in sets of 10). If I have any left over in a batch, I plan to keep them and use them if I have a month where I need more than 10 tests. I'm also guessing that after a few months, I'll have a good idea how many tests I'll have to do in a month, and if the answer is 5 or less, then one batch of sticks should last 2 months.

I'm also hoping (of course) that I don't need to use it for more than a few months, so won't need a huge number of batches of sticks (but then again was hoping I wouldn't need to buy one at all...)

    Congratulations Elle-g! Yay!

I am synptom spotting agian after saying I don;t think I am PG - I have a metallic taste in my mouth I have never had before. It started yesterday. And this mornign when I got up I felt really nausous.

I so don't want to get my hopes up. I am on day 31 since my m/c started and no AF yet but of course it takes time to go back to normal.

Don't feel bad I mc'd in September and if I get pregnant this month I'll be completely over the moon. Terrified and a little sad, but utterly delighted as well.

I also have a plan that if I do get pregnant again in the near future that I'll book a 4D scan for the same day that my first baby was due as a way of remembering it. And then taking a walk to the place where we scattered it's "ashes."
