Congratulations Angela and LP. :T
I haven't been posting on here the last couple of weeks as I had nothing new to say. I'm on CD13. Regular posters may remember that I recently purchased a Clearblue fertility monitor from ebay and had a bit of bother getting it from the seller, took ages to arrive. Whilst I was waiting for it another ebayer contacted me as she had purchased one from the same seller and hadn't received hers either. I have been emailing her for the last few weeks as we compared stories about the seller. She ended up having to buy another one from somewhere else as her cycle was beginning. I got an email from her tonight to tell me she still hadn't received it but in her first month of trying with her other fertility monitor she got a BFP :j . I can't believe how happy I am for a complete stranger. It's given me some hope. My monitor is still saying high fertility but it does that a lot in the first month apparently. I'm still waiting for the peak fertility so fingers crossed.

Hi chick.
Just for info I got my first high day on day 9 and that continued until day 24. Didn't get a peak at all, but as you say that's quite normal in the first month. I kind of worried that I wasn't oving but found the info in the instruction book that there are a few reasons why you might not get a peak some months.
I did get a peak this month though (my second month of using the monitor) so fingers crossed!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Congratulations! :j
I never believed you could 'know' you were pg, until it happened to me. I'm really pleased we have some more BFPs (or TLPs) on here.
I just received some more OPKs and a box of early pg tests from Access Diagnostics, but I'm not even sure what cd I'm on today - I'm just taking it easy this month. I just wanted to have some cheap pg tests so that if I do think I'm pg again at some point, I can test early and go back to the doc for an early appt.
Good luck and babydust to all :beer:0 -
congrats to the BFPs. We're doing well on this thread of late!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

morning... well, I have a picture, but can't seem to get it up here at the mo.. I'm having a Sunday lie in and my brain doesn't want to help me much right now!
I'm 12DPO today and although we got a faint BFP on Friday night and did another Saturday morning and got another faint but darker BFP, we are trying not to get too excited.
Until AF shows I'm going to take it pretty easy and still maintain that I'm not pregnant. AF is due on Tues / Wed so we're going to see how the next week goes, then test again on Saturday if no sign of the witch!!!
Love and babydust to all x x x x x0 -
Still no sign of AF.. was due on Friday. Haven't done another test since the BFN on the CBD on Friday afternoon. I'm staying at my parents until Wed and have left all my tests at home, determined not to do another one until then if still no sign of AF.
Does anyone know, if AF is just delayed cos of stress, does that mean this past month is just a longer cycle than usual and I'll prob have a 28 day cycle like usual next month, or will the next one be shorter to kinda catch up? Sorry for the silly question, just trying to work out when AF is due next, but I guess I need to wait for this one. Ya know, I never really believed that stress could delay AF... until now :rolleyes:0 -
Hi everyone
congratulations to Angela and little Pickle!
well I am in the 2WW but convinced I am not Pg. I did have sore boobs and was weeing more than usual but now boobs are not really sore and I am hardly weeing at all, so i don;t think I am. I don;t feel PG anyway.
We didn;t really try very hard after the m/c as I just felt too emotional and raw so next month we will , er, do it properly!
Unfortunately I seem to be surrounded by new babies and Pg announcements which is really hard. I get upset at random stuff and am finding it all a bit hard at times.
Good luck to everyone!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Hi everyone, I'm new to this board and think the support you have all given each other is fantastic
Congrats to Angela and Little Pickle
Me and my oh have been talking about babies for a while now but the time hasn't been right before. We've decided we're going to start ttc in January BUT we got a bit carried away this month and there's a possibility I might be pregnant as it was at the right time of the month... here's hoping!
I do feel "different" and my boobies have been really sore for the last week and a half (they're not usually, sorry if that's TMI) and I have felt a bit dizzy and sick but I don't know if I'm feeling like this because I'm hoping I am pregnant or not, if you know what I mean?!?
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and stop being a lurker!
Baby dust to everyone!

Hi Skintchick,
I know exactly how you feel. I've taken it very hard this month for some reason much more so than others. A good friend who was a TTC buddy had a baby girl on wednesday so think that may have a bearing on it! It seems to take so long to get from AF to ov each month I think that wait is almost worse then after ov.
I'm convinced I had a very early mc a couple of cycles ago but have no way of knowing for sure. I felt completely different that cycle (I'm not a symptom spotter by the way as that's just way too hard!) I had very sharp pains 6 days after ov, also felt really tired and sick. I came home from work 1 day feeling very sick and smelt something unpleasant (not massively so although can't remember what it was now!) and instantly had to go and throw up. Anyway AF was 2 days late but when it came it was extremely heavy for 6 days. I usually get 3 heavy days and 1-2 light ones. I didn't think much more about it except as hard as a mc is, it is also positive as it shows us we can conceive.
On another note I see someone mentioned the clearblue fertility monitor and wondered if anyone else had any experience of these. I'm going to be 36 in January and have had a year of not being able to try for a baby because of a tumour messing up my cycle. Because of this I feel I really can't waste any time due to age and also if things start going bad again with the tumour it would take away any chance. I'm on medication for it at the moment to control the hormonal effects and have to go back for an MRI in december. depending on the outcome of that they may say I will need to have it removed rather than carry on the drugs. Although this is highly unlikely it is still a possibility. If I had to have it operated on I'm afraid the effects it would have on my hormones would put pay to trying for a family. So I'm keen to try and conceive as quickly as possible and read about the clearblue monitor and from what I've read it looks good. But seeing as they're so expensive wondered if anyone had first hand experience.
Congrats to Angela and Little Pickle by the way and any other recent BFP's I've missed. There seem to be so many on here at the moment!0 -
I'm only on the first month using the monitor so I can't really comment on the effectiveness but if you are interested have a look on ebay. I bought a new one for £43 delivered. Less than half the price of Boots. HTH.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0
