LP - your symptoms sound promising, when is AF due? I have my fingers tightly crossed for you. And it is nearly November so we are due our next influx of BFPs!!!:D

    Hi everyone!!!

Rosie AF is due around 5th November. Thanks for the finger crossing! I'm feeling completely 'normal' today nothing really to say. All sympoms seem to have dropped away.

Last night as I was on my way to bed, I felt awful... a bit sicky, suddenly completely cream crackered, just uncomfy, you know?

Today I had another temp rise from 36.7 (yesterday) to 36.8 (today). I don't think I would be expecting a dip just yet though (for AF).

I'd be very surprised if I am this month (our first month)... Mr P said if I am, I'll here no end of it... 'I am SO the man... preggers on first go!' and all that... like it's totally his doing that I fall pregnant!!! hahahah! men! :rotfl:

HOw's eveyone else this sunny Friday morning???

That what my OH used to say BEFORE we started ttc. he was sure we will get there in first go. It is cycle 14 and we still haven't reached the goal!!!!

I would be fine, if the cold/flu wasn't knocking on the door!!! (well, my head this time...) I am CD14... OH is in bed at home with the cold. We did BD last night and Tuesday, so will have to wait and see what comes out of this!

    Hi guys,

it is glorious here, but i am feeling quite unwell. I started to feel very unwell on monday with a visit to the doc on wed as i couldn't drink water without being sick!

I have sore breasts and am having difficulty eating anything more than a bowl of cereal and just feel tired and uncomfortable. I have had cramps and pain in my abdomen. The doc gave me some tablets to stop nausea and i took one and have coped since. I am still a week away from AF so not sure if it is just a bug, although working from home means i don't get to see many people with bugs??

Oh well lets wait and see, i am not going to test until AF is late.

Babydust to all and enjoy the sunshine! :)

I had warned mine that ttc could take months as even if you do everything right getting pregnant may take months. When I got pregnant after just one month where we had BD'd just once he was completely freaked out. I had done such a good job of reducing his expectations that he thought he'd have months to get used to it.

After I miscarried he found it really difficult to have sex again. He said that subconsciously he felt that as he had made me pregnant, that by having sex with me he had caused me so much pain. It took him over a month to get past that. I think that it was when my AF came 2 weeks ago and he saw how low that brought me that he managed to be able to move on. And we're back on track now. I don't think I've OVd yet this month, but we've gotten some BDing done in advance, this month and plans for the weekend when I probably will OV. (Although I was very stressed at the start of this month so if I don't I won't be too surprised.)

I am feeling positive. It's not something he's very proud of but my dh was the body double for the lead in this movie. :D

Wow Gracie P - never heard of the movie but being a body double sounds exciting.
Glad your back on track again x
  • Afternoon ladies-firstly gloominess warning!

I have not posted on here for ages and even then it wasn't much. I didn't want to post my BFP at the end of Sept as it was our first month of trying and didn't want to be one of the newbies only posting a BFP etc etc however from the off I had the feeling that it had all been too easy.....skipping through ectopic scare then low rising HCG levels and finally the 3rd scan (on Mon) at 8 weeks or so showed a 2.5cm empty sac (after having a yolk sac 2 weeks before) and hence a blighted ovum, I had a D&C this Tues (my body was completely oblivious to the problem and as far as it was concerned it was stil pg and didn't cause any bleeding etc so D&C decision was a bit difficult).

Initially I was ok as had already convinced myself that it was going to be a m/c either way, but starting to be a bit more upset again now. Am thinking that I still have high levels of hormones in my body just now as have had spontaneous crying today whilst hanging up my washing-random! DH keeps asking why I am crying and I'm like, how can you not know why I am crying and upset- men really do not think anything like we do! I have to go back to work on Monday and not really looking forward to it as had to tell a few people due to working with chemicals, but I am sure it will be fine (hopefully bleeding will have stopped by then though).

Am also experiencing the whole everyone I know is announcing being pg thing- friends, neighbours etc ahhh!

Also had FIL staying this week and he can be a moody git and he was for most of the week, so all he was interested in was himself and how cold he was in our house and proceeded to keep putting out heating on without asking and really stressing me out (inconsiderate £$%&!)- think maybe due to strong views on abortion that he maybe got the D&C twisted in his head.....anyway he has gone now, phew.

Basically I needed a rant so sorry for longness- I said to myself not to come on here until I was over this as it has upset me a bit reading about BFPs (my own fault for reading it!) but I really want to start trying again asap (I really liked it when I was pg :o ) and am temping to look out for ov (and will do CM again too) but not sure if impatience after the D&C and not waiting for the 1-2 AFs will increase the risk of anything bad happening again?? I have read about ladies who got pg straight after and all was well but I am sure there are also stories of the opposite (as always!)- anyone here have any experience of this?

Sorry again for longness but just needed to get it down somewhere :(

Oh and my beloved washer dryer has got something wrong with it so I have to try and arrange to be in for a weekday visit when we both work fulltime-do companies not think that weekends would be a good visiting day option!!!! IT never rains......

It's a bloody awful movie. Avoid at all costs, on less you're a huge Kris Marshall (BT's Adam) or James Nesbitt (Cold Feet's Adam) fan. And even then I'd recommend avoiding it, you'd be better off watching a string of BT and Golden Pages adverts.

So sorry to hear of your loss Lizziebell, the same thing has happened to me twice now.
I had D&C's after both pregnancies and after the first one I did not wait to try again and concieved 5 weeks later and had a gorgeous baby boy :) the pregnancy was a bit stressful as I was convinced for the first trimester that the same thing had happened again as (like you I hadn't had any indication anything was wrong and the hormones levels were too high for any bleeding) but everything was fine.
The second time was a couple of months ago and was an unplanned pregnancy so I am thinking twice about trying to concieve again.
Some good news is that following an ERPC (D&C) the conditions in your womb make it more likely to concieve again quickly apparently (my OH's brother is a gynaecologist and this info came from him)
I think if you feel emotionally ready to try again straight away then you should go for it - I hope you feel better soon x
