Butterfyl72! BDing only once a month is sometimes all it takes, provided it is at your most fertile time

You know what, I've counted I'm actually 2 days late! Its strange though because I've had those pre period cramps since Monday and they have eased off today. I would have normally expected AF to arrive by now. I have no other pg symptoms.. although tbh I don't really know what they are:rotfl:

On saying I'm 2 days late, last month I had a 25 day circle, I am normally a 28 dayer but I have in the past had a 30 and a 31 day... so maybe I'll hold off on the testing till next week if AF hasn't arrived.

Now I've posted AF is bound to flow!

Well, wait and see as you never know! That would be great news if a BFP were to appear - so fingers crossed for you x

Hope you haven't already decided to leave your OH because that would be quite some parting news :rotfl:

hi, not been on here for AGES but I have some (4 from a pack of 10) Access Diagnostic PG tests that I won't use before they expire (Nov 09)-- is anyone interested? Can post-- just pm me.
    Steph
(er, I hope this doesn't break forum rules--wasn't sure these would be appropriate as a freecycle offer, but figured this would be a good place to offload them without just binning em... good luck to everyone TTC!)

Thanks, MadMac, for the reassurance! The tests are already taken :-) S

Ooh, weird these changes on the forum - but I'm amazed MSE techs managed to get it up again so quickly!

Sismith you are fine to be offering your PG tests on here - I offered some Pregnacare tablets a little while ago and PM came through quickly about them! I still have some Sanatogen Pronatal tabs if anybody wants them?

Hope you have all had a good weekend, lots of BDing and news to follow, fingers crossed x

Kenco just wanted to say that that is brilliant news. What a difference in the chances the fertility expert offered compared to the doctor. So, so pleased for you.

Sticky baby dust to everyone, fingers crossed for everyone on 2ww x x

Hi all quick update, been back to the specialist today as told to.

I have not started the clomid yet, as the specialist has ordered more tests first.(at least he is trying) reason is The specialist feels I do not have pcos as told over 7yrs ago but that I have a disease that is called Cushings Disease or Cushings syndrome. Im not too familiar with it yet as all new to me.

BUT today I have been for an ultra sound scan that did show small cluster growths on both ovaries, and a blood test this morning. I have been ordered another blood test in 21 days to see if I am ovulating??

Not sure how I feel knowing the growths are their but suppose at least I am nearing to finder the real reason why im like i am.

I hold my hands up and say this specialist is absolutely great pulling out all the stops for me, ANd has already written to the fertility clinic for me as well.

He says we not need fertility clinic but if he does it now at least we are on the list now. Since seeing him last friday he has done more for me than my doctor ever did.

I mean a blood test and an ultra sound scan on Monday morning when I only saw him friday afternoon.(unbeleivable) I am trying to remain optimistic this time and hope it all works out for me.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to keep you all informed. Although am feeling a little concerned about these growths as pcos can cause the growths on ovaries and so can this cushings disease??

Well keep you all informed I promise.

    Hi Kencokenco,

I can't help much on the cushings front except to say I know it is a pituitary condition. I have a pituitary tumour and there is a very good website https://www.pituitary.org.uk they did have a really good forum but have had to close it for some reason but alot of the members have found each other again on facebook. The group is called pituitary tumour awareness and there is a related group cushings disease awareness.
When I was first diagnosed with the tumour the pituitary foundation website was a godsend. There is so much information on there and they also have a trained endocrine nurse on a helpline certain days of the week to answer any questions.
It certainly seems that your specialist is a lot more on the ball than your GP.
    Good Luck.

Kencokenco, thank you for the update. What a day you've had! I am very impressed with your specialist, it makes a good change to find someone so helpful.

I can't offer much advice either I'm afraid, maybe the 12mth+ board might have someone with direct experience of the same?

Strange thing is DH is still complaining of increased appetite, fatigue, peeing alot and now a stuffy/runny nose . . . .. . is he getting the symptoms? :rotfl:
