    Hi Princessx87,

We have told everyone that we are ttc. We go married 2 years ago and I am 36 so it was always a question that was asked. Unfortunately a year after we were married I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour which has caused us fertility problems. I got sick of thinking up excuses whenever any one asked if we were planning a family and I now find it so much easier that everyone knows the situation. It stopped the questions and has also in the main stopped insensitive remarks. Because it's been a year since I was diagnosed and we've been trying to sort out the correct treatment until fairly recently it's taken the pressure off with everyone asking, they kind of just focussed on the tumour and forgot about a family. We would have loved it to have been a surprise to everyone but so many people know we're trying now I think they'll know I'm pg before I do! :rotfl:

We haven't told anybody at all - but I suppose that is more so that we don't get anybody's hopes up! We have been together such a long time I suspect we would be told that we should have started trying much earlier  Families, eh!

Lol same! everyone keeps asking whens the family coming? Whens the wedding?

Trying to do both atm, so going to slow things down!! hopefully that will help too!

    Welcome in princessx87!

OH and me haven't told anyone we're trying, but my SIL keeps asking when she's getting a niece or nephew, hopefully soon as I feel I am in a good (but not the best) place within myself to have a baby

Congrats on all the BFPs this month!!! Wow, that's an awesome result. :T

I've been reading but not commenting during this busy month. I haven't a CLUE where I am in my cycle, as on the day I'm 95% convinced I was supposed to ovulate, I got thrush symptoms  so it was impossible to track the decline of the EWCM.

To make matters worse, I'm also convinced that my thermometer also broke around this time! No matter what I do or when I take it, it registers 36.3 and has so for the past few days (I'm usually at 36.7 in luteal phase) - even on hubby!!! Really annoying, but I'm going to estimate I'm 4 DPO and probably 'fix' my FF chart with fake temps just so I can keep track.

Really annoying - does anyone know how/if thrush would affect conception during OV??? I'm almost positive we BDed right before the symptoms developed...

  • Well I couldn`t wait any longer and did a test this morning. It was a BFN and I was pretty shocked having convinced myself that it was going to be!!! I`m wondering if there is still any point to check again sunday as I still feel off. What do you all recon?

  • Hi Fishcake,

I would wait a few more days and test again especially if the strange feelings/symptoms continue.

    Good luck :D

  • Hi everyone...

    This thread is touching!!

as i am in a situation not to far from you all i can totally comprehend the...funny feelings convincing you there is a little seed planting itself...to turn out to be a dicky tummy or nothing at all!!

Been 12 months of trying for me!!! after a pregnancy ending in having to have a MTOM due to my much wanted baby having a severe neural tube defect... and a pregnancy years previous to that resulting in a spontaneous miscarriage.

hoping 2009 is my year as friends and SIL have both had healthy babies thi year and last!!

    good luck to all!!xx
