Hi all, thought I would pop back in to see how you are all getting on.
Sorry haven't been on in a while I just couldn't face seeing all the BFP's.

I know that sounds awful but until I was able to cope in my own way I decided to leave it,

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WITH BFP'S Especially Leapardlady. WELLDONE you deserve it.

As you all know I am waiting on appointments privately to see if anything else can be done for me, I still keeping thinking about the doctors words of less than 1% chance. Almost every night I go to sleep thinking about it and asking myself why me?? And then I feel awful becasue I should be grateful that im here and have a good life with my partner.

I hope you all get your sticky bean you are looknig for and will keep you all updated. I will try to join you all as often as I can but I do have good and bad days, hence not wanting to come on, BUT TODAY IS A GOOD DAY:j

Goodluck to all trying and congrats to all those who have the bfp:T :T

Hi all, hope i can join in.

Firstly thank you for everyone's info, journeys ect.. Most useful for me and OH.

Me and H2b have been trying since new years eve of 2009*
And every month, my body is telling me that i'm pregnant! with lots of disappointment after each monthly - girly - (AF) lol.

Me and OH have been together for a while, and after getting engaged we both fill that this is something we both want. After all we have always been a major counter-part of the upbring of our brother's and sisters (And still are lol cheap babysitters) so we have had our own up's and down's.

Even though we and my partner are only 21 / 22 all we want most is for our own children and married life!
(Lol we are already like a little old couple)

Is there anything you girls are doing out there is bump up the chances of getting pregnant if so can anyone give away their tips?

Thanks again for all the info!

    Welcome Princess,

    Some things I`ve been doing/trying is;
Elevating my hips after bding, aiding gravity. Makes me feel stupid but proactive lol.
Taking a vitimin suppliment containing folic acid.
We try to bd every other night from the day after AF finishes to a day or two before it starts. I think though the more you have the more you want! lol

These lots of information on the net to be found to, just watch out for all those miricle patchs and voodoo items that cost the earth.

    Have fun and good luck

Nickynoo, well done for making the decision, I'll bet you feel better for it! :D

Kencokenco, so pleased to hear from you and well done for taking a peek at the board. I can only imagine how hard you are finding things at the moment and we all find it hard at times to read of others BFPs and I can certainly sympathise on that score! Keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you that you hear even slightly more positive news soon. Big hug and thinking of you xxx

Welcome Princess! I second what Fishcake has already said and can only add that after a while of trying I gave in and bought ovulation tests and a basal body thermometer, just to try and really make the most of my most fertile time. Not that it is helping yet! But have also now taken the plunge and ordered Toni Weschler's fertility book that seems to get rave reviews, so watch this space! Ever the optimist... ;)

Lol thanks for the welcome peeps.

GOD it fills sooooooo good that i can tell people!!
Me and OH made a pack that we will NOT be telling anyone, so its a suprise all round has anyone else done this?

so far only been able to tell 2 people, thinking a head incase anything was to happen, whilst i'm with them ect..
My mind is really playing with me atm tho, Like after every (AF) i convinced that i'm pregnant, body showing signs ect..lol

    Hi Princessx87,

We have told everyone that we are ttc. We go married 2 years ago and I am 36 so it was always a question that was asked. Unfortunately a year after we were married I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour which has caused us fertility problems. I got sick of thinking up excuses whenever any one asked if we were planning a family and I now find it so much easier that everyone knows the situation. It stopped the questions and has also in the main stopped insensitive remarks. Because it's been a year since I was diagnosed and we've been trying to sort out the correct treatment until fairly recently it's taken the pressure off with everyone asking, they kind of just focussed on the tumour and forgot about a family. We would have loved it to have been a surprise to everyone but so many people know we're trying now I think they'll know I'm pg before I do! :rotfl:

Nice to hear from you again, I know exactly where you are coming from with good days and bad. Please let us know how your consultation goes. I really hope they'll be able to give you some hope again.

We haven't told anybody at all - but I suppose that is more so that we don't get anybody's hopes up! We have been together such a long time I suspect we would be told that we should have started trying much earlier  Families, eh!
