  • A little quiet on here ...... lots of BDing everyone!:rotfl:

I wish. . . . after a good month of Bding last month, but not being successful, and then a longer than normal cycle, DH and I were (notice past test) planning this months assault. Due to long cycle last month I've been using OPK and should've been OVing (on past cycles) on 16th, but luckily seems that this has all been pushed back.

DH is in a strange mood, and not into BDing, I can't help thinking I've got to turn him round ASAP as just waiting for the +OPK. Last month I gave him the date to start the regular BDing and he obliged. That date was 16th this month as so far no contact. He's on a downer about other things in life, which has rolled into this area, and I'm not brave enough to bring up the subject. Not sure whether to bring it up anyway and risk the mood getting worse, or try the womanly charms to turn him round. . . .
    men.. . . . and I thought we're supposed to be the moody ones:mad:

  • I'm back to the usual symptom spotting again. I'm on CD30 of a 32 day cycle and 10 dpo. Did a test this morning :o I know it's too early but it was an internet cheapie so I don't feel too bad about it. BFN of course. I've been having cramps for the last couple of days which feels like AF is on her way but I'm hoping that it is implantation cramps. Boobs are a wee bit sore but they normally are at this time of the month. Why are the symptoms for AF coming the same as early pregnancy symptoms? It's rubbish really.

Oh my god, I saw your post and thought I'd written it! Took a sly test this morning- got a BFN then had a good old cry about the whole thing! So silly but I feel so emotional at the moment. Not due to Wednesday, so it's not over till the fat lady sings.....:o

Just ordered a book on Amazon 'Getting Pregnant-Faster'. Mostly about nutrition. Will let you know if it's any good when I get it. Can you tell I'm feeling my chances of success this month slipping away?!!!

Tons of optimism, baby dust and sticky glue to all. It's aparently the gloomiest day of the year tomorrow, what with it being a monday and mid-January, so chin up ladies and let's get BD-ing!!!:rotfl:

I feel you ladies! We're not TTC yet (next month!), but I'm charting so I can really throw myself into it next month. Annoying it's CD16 and I've still not OV! Grrrr...every morning now I take my temp, I'm hoping it'll spike. I know my hormones might still be stabilising after coming off the implant, but I hope this doesn't mean I'm in for really cycles *sigh*.

Good luck to all you trying!! Hope we get some BFPs at the end of the month :D:D

    HELP!!!

OK, so Friday I posted that AF had arrived - WARNING TMI

Before each af I get a small amount of brown spotting then a bleed about 2 hours or so later - however this time no bleed! Am now 4 days late. I've got some af type cramps and low back pain but other than that no other pg symptoms. I actually do feel pregnant deep down but then I get a bad cramp and think AF is coming.

Where do you girls get your tests from? Don't want to spend a fortune because I am sure my body is just playing tricks on me and knowing my luck at the moment - I'll buy one then start bleeding!!

    Feels so strange ...................

Where does the time go?
  • Hi Glamazon. I got my first tests from Boots, I think it was 2 for £4.99, I only got them as I wanted them in a hurry as I had convinced myself I was pg!! Now I get them from ebay, sooooo much cheaper, something like £3.79 for 20... but then you have to wait for them to be delivered!!

    Thanks fattybooboo

Ha - the wonders of eBay didn't even think to look on there! Wow that's cheap but like you say you have to wait for delivery and I don't think I can - also a box of 20?!!!. Boots is just up the road from work so may go there at dinnertime and hope no-one recognises me!
Don't want to waste the money in case I am BFN (I am doing really well on MS'ing so far this year) but at the same time I really want to know - I work in a GP surgery so could be naughty and send one off from here but then my staff would know when the result comes back!!

Oh darn it - I'll just go and get a test today - asda near me so maybe cheap in there.

  • Hey Glamazon! If you have a Poundland near you they do two tests for a pound, sometimes it is three but depends which shop. I used these when I was pg with my dd and they are accurate, we used the same ones in the hospital to determine if a patient was pg. Good luck and do let us all know how you get on.

I am now about to embark on major bding from tomorrow as due to ov on Friday. I think OH was really dissapoited it didn't happen last month so has insisted on bding every night up until ov day and then a day after just to make sure lol. At least he seems more enthusiastic this time, last time even talking about anything ttc related completely put him off.

    Hi Girls

Well I am on a downer today too!
I had a great weekend of BDing planned for DH birthday, but we only managed friday night, and then nothing. Depsite sexy undies, sexy dancing and even teasing from him! I am so annoyed as i believe i am oving today. I really hope he comes home and makes up for it all. He was the one who wanted to get preg this month, I was hoping to get there earlier, so we have been trying for almost 9mths!

Sorry rant over, I always get very emotional on day i ov, so lets just hope it is a good sign!

Very sticky baby dust to all.
