Trying For a Baby II

Thanks Tigerlilley
I've just been to Quality Save and bought one for 99p - just hope it works properly. Just need to wait until I get home now (I'm dead impatient) - with me being 4 days late do you think I should just do it when I get home or wait until the morning for a more accurate reading?
The leaflet says by now there should be sufficient HCG in my urine (soz) - I'm not sure if you should only test in the morning if you test before af due.
Still got backache and starting to feel a bit sick but not sure if that's because I put too much jam in my mid-morning porridge :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
The HCG is more concentrated in the morning but considering you are late it shouldn't matter when you test. Test now and let us know! I though I had my period when I got pregnant - 2 days of light bleeding but then no full on AF, I tested a week after AF due and got a positive.

Hi Jennynoo
Please don't tempt me! You don't know how hard I'm am trying to wait until I get home - would like to do test with OH there so we can share the moment :A
I've left the test in the car (under the front seat just in case anyone from work walks past my car) and have just spent 45mins in a meeting to distract myself. Now going to get some lunch and throw myself into work and test when I get home.
3.5hours to go - just need to make sure I drink enough so I need to pee when I get in!
Will let you know tomorrow am.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Good luck for later then, it's always fun trying to pee with OH just outside the door!

OOOOOOOOOh good luck Glamazon!!
My friend gave me a first response test today but Im not going to test yet,Im only 7dpo so Im sure it would be negative even if I am pg. AF is due 1week today. I have been so convinced that I am pg,but am now starting to doubt myself. My boobs are still sore and tender but they don't feel 'hard' when I touch them nowIm confused. Maybe they are as bad,but Ive just got used to them now (started being sore and huge Thursday)
Here are my signs that I am pg though-
Boobs very sore, swollen, blue veins (never like this untill 3days before AF due)
Get sudden waves of tiredness
dull cramping in lower abdomen (never get this untill day before AF due)
Lots of white creamy CM (sorry tmi)
I will be really shocked if AF arrives next week as I know my body (have been making notes ect for 6months, know my cycle lengths for the past 12months) and these symptoms that began 4days ago never start this early.
Ive been reading www.twoweekwait.com there are pregnant women on there that have listed there very early symptoms (just after OV)love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
Thanks Helen and everyone that's helping me keep sane! :T
If it is positive, I have no idea how I will manage to keep it quiet until frist trimester over with - at least one month is out the way!
BTW - Why do the signs of AF and PG have to be so similar?!!! At least if they were different you'd know one way or another.
I am dreading the swollen boobs - so far they haven't changed, I've had 2 breast reductions so really hope they don't go massive again - although found out the other day that I possible, maybe, you never know, might be able to breastfeed!! Will have to wait and see.
See, I'm getting way ahead of myself. God, I need to do some work - bye for nowA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Well I am on a downer today too!
I had a great weekend of BDing planned for DH birthday, but we only managed friday night, and then nothing. Depsite sexy undies, sexy dancing and even teasing from him! I am so annoyed as i believe i am oving today. I really hope he comes home and makes up for it all. He was the one who wanted to get preg this month, I was hoping to get there earlier, so we have been trying for almost 9mths!
Sorry rant over, I always get very emotional on day i ov, so lets just hope it is a good sign!
Very sticky baby dust to all.
Sounds so very familiar (see my earlier post!) I think I have been lucky and not OV'd yet and might have just turned DH around - he said "as long as it doesn't interrupt tonight's football"
Also know what you mean about getting ahead of yourself - I have a couple of wedding invites this year and am already thinking at least taxis won't be a problem as I won't be drinking!! Next step looking at formal maternity wear . . .. . . must keep aware from computer :rotfl:2009 total raised £2373.60:jthe new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
2013 - twins now 14 mths old - lets get sorted!

The dreaded footy - yeah need to make sure I do test as soon as I get in otherwise won't get any sense out of OH later on.
Just been flicking thru the baby names thread so defo need to test so I can get the 'what if's' out my head and actually do some work - good job I'm the manager hey?!!!
Talking of weddings, my sister is getting married in Spain over the summer - mum was talking about it yesterday and telling me I must book my flights all I could think about was whether I could fly if I'm 7 months pregnant!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
