just to add to this, alot of people experience sore breasts almost immediately after conceiving, as well as, nautiousness, lower back pain, darkening of areola, constipation, food cravings, and fatigue

The above was taken from http://ehealthforum.com/health/topic39543.html the bit above is near the bottom of the page

    Right, I've got:

    Lower back pain
Constipation (sort of - could be down to back hurting so much that it won't come out - sorry for TMI)
Fatigue - not so out of the ordinary - I'm always tired
Food cravings - again not so out of the ordinary, I crave chocolate fairly regularly :rotfl:

Oh, and it's only CD14 for me, so I guess I'm getting a bit ahead of myself :rotfl:

Our bodies can play nasty tricks on us can't they! I'll just have to play the waiting game now, till this time next week till I can do a test.

  • I am now in the 2ww, well 10-11 day wait for me. Like I said in previous post (was a bit rushed as had to run) I have all the symptoms, sore BBs, sickness, cramps, backache, heartburn (never got this before I was pg in Sept) so all looked good to me as I never got these things before AF, but no joy, so was very confused and upset and that was the day before xmas eve, oh the timing! I drank quite a bit of wine over xmas though to make up for it and stashed my BBT away (well left in in Worcester when we went up north to my parents) for a break from temping etc. Was away for 2 and a half weeks and think I ov'd at the end of the holiday (took a few temps this week and all post-ov levels) so about 7 or 8 dpo now, AF due on Tues 20th (CD29). I have no heartburn, felt a bit sicky a few days ago (back-to-work-itis maybe?), BBs a wee bit sore, had some cramps a few days ago with the sicky, but now nothing.

I am trying my best not to symptom spot as I was sooooo disappointed in Dec when I had them and it meant nothing :( I was testing by this point in Dec, but now and possibly from now on I am just going to wait for AF on Tues as pretty sure she will visit this month again, boo!

Had sneaky suspicion that since got pg first try initially and it going wrong would then mean it would take ages to catch again, so far have had one annovulatory cycle and 2 others that won't have caught since D&C so may be right......check me miss pessimism! Well can only be surprised I suppose...

    Helen,

I really would recommend giving up the symptom spotting. I had all of the exact symptoms as you last month, my boobs were boiling hot, veiny, incredibly sore to the point my kneejerk reaction when my dh touched one of them even gently I nearly elbowed him in the face! I also had a milky discharge, and a really strange tightness in my belly. My dh was convinced I was pg and even managed to get me thinking I could be as I never symptom spot because it's soul destroying every month. Anyway he persuaded me to take a test the day my af was due as it hadn't arrived and it was a bfn. Af showed up next day. Your mind does an awful lot to your body and I think we often subconciously talk ourselves into these symptoms because we want it so badly.

Becs you are so right- the first month of TTCing I was absolutely convinced that my symptoms were spot on, but obviously AF came and I wasn't pregnant.

In a way I think that this early experience has done me a favour as now I just keep thinking of that first month when the symptoms were spot on but it wasn't to be. I do feel absolutely wiped out at the moment, but that could be downe to anything I guess!!

Fingers crossed to everyone on their 2ww. I've got my Asda tests ready if AF is late next Wednesday!
