Hey Ladies, hope everyone is feeling good today. Been winding myself up all day today buy looking at baby things in the sales! I know I shouldn't but I can't help myself!

Still feeling the same- worn out and a bit sicky! I think if I am not pregnant then I will get my iron levels checked as I definitely feel more drained than usual. Bit of an anti-symptom but I usually get such sore boobies before AF but haven't this month (due in 5 days). I also usually get bad spots the week before as well but haven't at the mo, although that could be due to not drinking.......

How soon after conception can symptoms start? I have sore swollen boobs,but AF wouldnt be due for 10days yet.

I have no idea how soon symptoms can start but I have read that implantation doesn't happen until between 6-12 days after conception. I can't imagine a woman would get any symptoms until a further few days after that.

So assuming you are text book and AF is due in 10 days and you have conceived, implantation won't have happened yet so I'd say to try and relax and not think about it

He, he Helen you sound as bad as me with the symptom spotting! It is so hard not to though- especially when the symptoms are real. I think it is so hard not to think they must be down to pregnancy.

Just an update

AF showed up this morning kind of feel relieved but also quite sad - even OH was a bit gutted which means that it really is something that he wants. So glad I didn't give in a test - more money for the baby fund!

Will keep up with things on here until we actually start TTC

I did some googling last night after I posted..found a site that says some women can get symptoms very soon after conception..sore boobs being one of the ones mentioned. Maybe I am reading too much into it too soon but my boobs don't get as sore and massive (can see veins that couldn't see before too!) when Im this far away from AF..it usually starts 3-4days before.

Best of luck to you too, we are in the same boat, my AF is due the week after yours. Ive really gotta stop looking for symptoms. My boobs being sore and huge is real, I couldn't be imaginging that,even OH last night,his eyes nearly popped out his skull when he saw them :rotfl: but Im prob imagining the nausea I was feeling and the tiredness could be just down to the fact its the end of the week and Im knackered!

just to add to this, alot of people experience sore breasts almost immediately after conceiving, as well as, nautiousness, lower back pain, darkening of areola, constipation, food cravings, and fatigue
