You make total sense. It will be a relief when I know for sure rather than all this guessing and also to start getting over it and move on. I know I'm going to start trying again straight away! Well, you're supposed to wait a month so if you get pregnant they can date it properly but we will just have to see if I can remember how to use condoms

Jennynoo - just wanted to say I hope your ok hun and re the getting pg straight away - just so you know I did it without having AF in between and everything was fine - its always nice to get an early dating scan (if they offer it) anyway for reassurance so perhaps it's good not to be 100% sure of your dates x
  • I may be mad but I did a cheepy test today I'm 8dpo and there is the faintest line, I think, in the world. DH saw it too, but I think we just might be seeing things coz we want it so much. I did a second one and it seems to be the same, but how can you compare when you can hardly see it. Anyone else had a really faint line?

I didn't know there were tests out there that give results this early?

I was going to post the same link as Hayley did, I hate to say it but I think that's what you might be seeing.

Come on sparklygirl1, did you do another test today? Is the line any stronger? We are all eager to know!!!!

I am 9 DPO, CD21, so not too long to wait for me either. I had some really bad pains last night in my left lower abdomen. We were out in TK Maxx shopping for jacket for me (promised my husband that I will go sledging with him in Italy, and he promised to get me the snow outfit for that!), and I basically had to squat to help with the pain at times. We were going out to Pizza express afterwards (2 for 1 meal, thanks MSE). It eased up a bit, but I can still feeling 'something' in that area. Hope it is nothing serious, as I can't be ill when we are in Italy - OH's mum is a retired doctor, so I am in a big trouble if I get any pains or aches...

Fertility friend marked my graph for this month as triphasic, but it is probably more likely that I have a cold coming up...

  • I think I was seeing things or it was evap line, as nothing this morning. but hey still early on in the game! Also first month of trying after m/c, don't think I would be that lucky to get preg straight away. I've got to look on positive side of things, if I'm not preg this month at least I can have a drink at christmas!

Hi Sparkygirl, i am thinking the same thing as i would love to pg this month but if not then yes, drink at christmas and relaxing, who knows a little christmas fun may be what we all need to relax a little and see how that affects our chances of loads of positives in the new year :j

Baby dust to all with lots of sticky stuff, not snow, but to keep warm we should all bd a lot:rotfl:

    Hey ladies :D

I've got a question. Somebody said there was no such thing as TMI...so here goes....

When you and your OH have BD'd, what do you do straight afterwards? I grab some tissue and run to the toilet...should I be waiting a bit longer to give the little guys chance to swim up there?? :o I've heard about some women who lie with their legs up against the headboard afterwards...do people really do that? Should I be doing that?

My next AF is due on the 27th...i'm gonna do a test on Christmas Day, it'd be such a nice christmas present for my mum & dad :) I know it's very unlikely that I will be preg this month, it's my first "real" month of trying.
