Thanks. I have started pestering the Pregnancy thread already. I hope I can get a scan early. I couldn't even guess how far along I am otherwise.

Good Luck to everyone on here. I never thought I'd get pregnant this quickly (under a year) and wasn't prepared for the +ive result at all. So keep at it (as if it's a chore!) and hopefully there'll be much more good news in the new year.

Sorry, I just realised, that second bleeding was in November, not October (why would I think that?), so it could have been implantation bleeding. That could mean you are 4-5 weeks.... But it is difficult to guess as your periods are so different...

Cool. That would be pretty awesome! I'm so impatient, it would be nice to have 5 weeks over with already. Not getting my hopes up though but it would be good.

I hate all this not knowing. What sort of a scan do they do, an ultrasound? Can they be quite accurate on the date front? I am looking around on the web for answers to but sometimes others experiences help. I'd never even heard of an implantation bleed...

    9 weeks...imagine that...blimey!

At seven weeks I had an internal ultrasound. Not as scary as it sounds it was much easier than a smear test.

    Hi all,

Am in a grumpy mood today. Daren't test in case it's another bfn. :(

Had the taste again, salivating wildly (esp. after eating anything) and had heartburn and burpy-ness most of the day. I don't generally get heartburn, so it's very coincidental if it's not a 'symptom'.

I'll probably have some spotting/bleeding tomorrow afternoon, if af is to arrive this month. I feel so apprehensive and miserable about it, as we really did give it our best shot this month.

Sorry to moan. Hope everyone is ok. Jennynoo, my thoughts are with you.

    Hi Annie.

Sorry you are feeling so low. I too find the hardest months are the months that we have done our absolute best to conceive.

    When is AF due?

    Hi Shelly,

Thanks for the reply. AF is officially due on Friday, but I usually come on during the day before (I go by the 'cd1 is the first day you wake up with blood' method of calculating), so I'd expect to see something happen tomorrow. I know this means I've not got too long to wait, but I'm having real difficulty with the idea that I might not be pg this month - especially as I think I had an implantation bleed last Friday-Sunday, and all these other symptoms.

All I can do is wait

Oh AnnieM, try and stay positive, stress will only cause problems. I used to think to myself, 'I am pregnant' or 'I'm not pregnant' and see which one felt right, I think our subconscious knows what is going on so we just have to try and connect with it. But don't go overboard!

Oh jenny noo i hope you get some news soon and in the mean time get plenty of rest.
Just wanted to get different peoples views from the people that use ovulation sticks i used mine for the first time last month on the day they came i got a positive that day then tested for the next few days but that was all.
Was wondering when do you first start testing do you start the day after AF has gone away then carry on until AF arrives am not really sure when to start testing and when to finish.
    Any help would be appreciated

Depends how long your cycle is. Mine is usually 25 days, and I start testing on day 8.
