Friday is not that far!!!! (Well, I know just how FAR it is, but it is before the weekend) I hope it turns out to be positive in the end. Isn't metallic taste a common symptom?...
I, on the other hand, will have to wait till next week to test!!!! That is ages away!!!!! Still, fingers crossed - although nothing un-ordinary to report here...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Yeah, I just have to try and be patient! The metallic taste is a very common symptom, and I can help but put it together with the spotting I had to...I, on the other hand, will have to wait till next week to test!!!! That is ages away!!!!! Oh dear! I hope the time passes quickly for you, and you get that bfp!0 -

I can only be grateful that I didn't have an ectopic in the end and managed to avoid a laproscopy by the skin of my teeth- due to lack of communication within the hospital I went to (undue stress that could have been prevented if someone had told the consultant that there was a yolk there at one stage!! Was called back in less than 24 hours after being discharged as not having one!)
I know exactly what you mean. I always believed that when a woman miscarried there would be lots of pain, heavy bleeding and clots so when I started spotting dirty stuff and my (then) GP said not to worry, I didn't.
The second time though I didn't hang around, I took myself to A&E where mc was confirmed.
I understand that spotting is quite common early on and I know my GP gave me the best advice at the time but I still (even now) feel let down about it.
My spotting started at about 6 weeks and for a further 6 weeks we carried on thinking I was pg.
All our hopes and dreams were growing inside me. To be then told at 3 months that the last 6 weeks had been a lie is devastating.
Now if I ever speak to a woman or read about one of you ladies on this thread (or the other one) who is spotting anything at all, be it fresh or not, I would always say go to A&E.
Chances are everything is fine but personally I'd want to know ASAP.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Did anyone else know that excessive salivation can be a sign of early pregnancy?
Is there a 'Symptom Spotters Anonymous'? Can I join please? :rotfl:0 -
This is the first time I have been online today, which is amazing for me!! Not feeling very well today, got a bit of a tummy bug
Annie - sorry that you got a BFN but I am still hopeful, bring on Friday! And don't you worry, I'm sure I will be symptom spotting in a couple of weeks!!
I didn't realise how lucky I was with my OH, he lets me waffle on about ov tests, cycles, etc and it never puts him off. He knows that next weekend I will be doing ov tests and as soon as I get a positive we are BDing like there is no tomorrow!! Think happy & you'll be happy

Yes I suffered from it when pg and I was working at a colleagues desk with my head down and dribbled over the keyboard without realising it! - he tried to pretend he hadn't noticed but I know he did - I nearly died of embarrassment!:o
Nothing wrong with a bit of symptom spotting btw! x0 -

OOPS! :rotfl: There's just nothing either of you could have said or done that would have made that situation better either! Poor you!
Well, I am now drooling like a St Bernard, and it tastes like pennies. I had spotting at 7/8 dpo. I simply can't believe this could add up to be me not being pregnant!
I have on occasion had a metallic taste the day before af, or before a migraine, but af isn't due yet and I'm not getting a migraine (can't smell burnt toast or see sparkles!) - there is something amiss if this cycle turns out to be a bfn and I've had all these symptoms...
...or I'm just a drooling lunatic! :eek:0
