Hi Lizziebell, thanks very much for sharing that information with us, I hadn't been able to find it anywhere else. I'm the type of person who likes to know exactly what is going on - it makes me feel more in control . Me too!

My boyfriend stopped getting it on as soon as we started TTC, he said it was too much like it was a task he had to perform mine said that too! but he though it should just be natural. Men just have no idea .

PS never worry about the TMI thing, frankly any thread about TTC should be assumed to not be shocked by any content (and anywhere that discusses mucous of any type is generally good for non-shockability ;) )

oops. sorry... thankyou jennynoo as well.... i don't want you to think i forgot you!

wel to be honest he didn't say anything when he found the OV sticks, he just kind of looked at me with a "Ok...right....i'll just put those right back there then shall I" kind of look and left it at that!

Oh well, what will be will be, a slight consolation is that I have just peed on one of the offending OV sticks and it came out negative so I still haven't ovulated, so there is still a chance i can convince him at the right time...day 13 of a 26 day cycle today...

now sing along with me girls.... Que,Sera,Sera.....whatever will be, will be....:rotfl:

To quote a wise and knowing cartoon "boys are stupid, throw rocks at them" :D

:rotfl:

Think I may have to tell a small white lie to dh and tell him ov before I have in future, normal interest seems to resume when bd period is over (I think it has to be a subconscious thing).

Still holding out for a BFP this month so hopefully won't have to worry next month.

Any news from Annie?

Hm, where is Annie today?... We are all eager to hear!
I am 7 DPO, temp jumped this morning to 36.84, well above the rest for this month, but it seems I quite often have a temperature jump at around 7 days post OV (looking through the graphs on fertility friend here....). Got quite a lot of creamy cm today, so not sure what that means!

Still no news form AnnieM?? I'm so impatient!!

An update on us, I had a chat with OH (on MSN) about the current s3x standoff and he confessed to feeling a bit under pressure about the whole thing...so I said i'll happily ditch the OV sticks if it means we can go back to enjoying it again...and then we'll see what happens... I'm a bit happier now....

Hi girls just wanted to drop in to say hello. Not many men can resist a sexy outfit you just have to know where you are in your cycle.

Hello Everyone,

Just got in, and figured I'd better post asap in answer to everyone. I'm afraid it was still a bfn on the cheapie stick today. However, it DID say in the info to test on the first day of your missed af, which will be Friday for me (if it turns out to be a missed af) - the cheap sticks are 25mIU, so my levels might still be a bit low (?) Or I might be the same as my mum and never get a positive test result  .

I do still have the metallic taste, and I've felt a bit grotty, but I'm losing hope a bit :(

Hope everyone is ok - thanks for asking how my test went.

That test must not have been sensitive enough. Test again on Friday - if you can wait that long! Good luck and baby dust. x

Thanks!

Just delved into the info for healthcare pros on the Clearblue website - the digital ones with conception indicator are also 25mIU. It says you can use them up to 4 days early, but the accuracy varies when you use them that early. Wish I'd gone for some 10mIU ones...
