Morning! I'm ever so behind with this challenge. My Mum has had a big operation, so I have been caring for her, which is consuming loads of my time. Hopefully I shall list some more this week, but what I have listed has all sold, which is fab!

Hi and good afternoon everyone!
tmd - best wishes with the op - will be thinking of you.
I Will list cds on amazon today. with my recent ebay listings - about half have watchers - so far only 3 have bids on. But.... one of my items has 13 !! watchers and NO biddders - just under 3 days to go.
What is the most watchers that anyone here has had?
I think its a bit like the lottery. I never win on the lottery, but for a microsecond I get excited when ONE of my numbers comes up...so it is for ebay - no bidders, but lots of watchers !!!:rotfl: .I must go out and get some fresh air, or do something different for a while.
That double cd cost me £1.78! for postage, and 25p for the box. I only made 67p. Not listing double cds again for lowish prices on amazon..

I'm not sure I like watchers, I had 11 on an item that finished Sunday night and not a single bid and item went unsold at 99p.

I wanted to find out about feedback.
what is the average/normal time for a person to provide feedback?
i have sent out loads of stuff, and 20% pf people have given me feedback, all good, should i assume they were not happy with good and decide not to do feedback, or that it just takes a while for some people to get to it.
How long do you give it b4 you get worried?
or do u get worried

Avogirly - that's not good news. Hope your Mum is better soon. eBay can wait!
Hi Soolin, Good to see you here;)
I try not to look at my watchers, not that I tend to have many but there have been occasions where I have had 5/6 people and then the item doesn't sell so I figure out that it is probably either the competition or the auction has finished at the wrong time.
Several of those unsold 99p items have been put back on and then a bidding war - I've no idea why. I guess it depends who is looking on eBay at the time.
I have been very naughty and haven't listed for a few days. I have been faffing around and sorting things out...and ummm..buying..only a book but I am really pleased because it is signed and is written bya distant relly and cost next to nothing. :T
Have 6 items with bids on and another 20 odd with watchers. Just hope they manage to bid!

I think some watchers are people with the same item wanting to get an idea of its value before selling it themselves. I know I've looked various things up on ebay to try and get an idea of what they're worth or even to see if it's worth listing the item at all.
I've fallen behind a bit with my listing so I will make an effort tonight to catch up. More books on Amazon or Greenmet, methinks. Well done to all the ebay listers, I'm still doing an amazing job at putting it off!O/draft 1Abbey:£1000 Student Loan [STRIKE]£10,825[/STRIKE] £9030 Personal Loan: [STRIKE]£4900[/STRIKE]£4809 Apple Finance: £1000

I would rather that people didn't leave me feedback these days! The DSR system has really messed up my figures so as long as my standing is good and I am above the eBay average I don't want anybody coming along and messing it up.
I've had people put feedback on months afterwards. Feedback is optional so don't worry if they haven't left any. Likewise I personally don't leave feedback until they have left feedback for me.

Hi - its up to 17 ! watchers and no bids now....
Lexxx - with feedback, its optional. I always leave it quickly if Im a buyer, that way the seller knows that I have the item and all is fine.
As a seller - I now leave it until the seller leaves it, especially if the buyer hasnt made the sale go smoothly. As I cant leave a neg or a false positive, its the only way that I can say how it went.
I currently dont have any feedback on 2 items from 3 weeks ago - an echeque and a late payer. Not holding my breath.
If you ask for feedback, the buyers can feel pressured and leave a neg or neutral. Oh joy!0 -
