eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

I listed 5 things yesterday on my Business account and sold 2 straight away which was good.

We have a whole load of stuff to list, quite a few cuddly toys but not sure if it is worth listing those. I didn't get the 5p offer on the Personal account I've been selling on but did on my other personal account that I haven't used for ages so anything that finishes on my first personal account I'm listing on the other one with the 5p offer.

I think it will take me a year to get through all our stuff, we have a whole annex full of potential sales, I have 5 boxes here in my office which needs to be listed but my batteries have run out so need to take the 3 kiddies up the road to Woolworths later for some as they are the only ones that seem to last a good amount of time in my camera.

Just listed 3 for today, that's enough I think for today, going to watch XFactor soon and chill for an hour or so.

I am so annoyed. I sold 3 items to 2 sellers a couple of weeks ago and dodn't receive payment. I gave them some time before I sent a polite reminder. The first guy said he was having trouble with his paypal account, and that he still wanted the goods and would pay in a couple of days when it was sorted. That was 4 days ago. I sent him a message today asking if he still wanted the goods and he said he did, and that his account was sorted and he would pay straight away (he hasn't as yet). The second guy bought 2 items. When I didn't get payment after a week I e-mailed him. He said he would pay me last Mon when he had money in the bank. He didn't so I waited until today in case he was waiting for pay day. I e-mailed him this morning asking if he still wanted the goods and he said no. It has annoyed me because I think it's really bad mannered.
Sorry this is a long rant - I've had a bad day all round. Now I've got that off my chest I'll have a drink. Enjoy your Sat night everyone x

Cazzab that's flippin' annoying and is the only drawback to ebay. Sometimes there are some right barstewards to deal with.

Anyway, I lost the thread this week and couldn't find it so have now subscribed (no excuses from now on)

I believe I committed to 7 listings a day so am starting officially today for November. I have listed 17 books on Amazon and Green Met so that covers me for today and tomorrow and part of Monday. :j
Will aim for some more tomorrow so I don't have to list on a week night.

Notice I'm still putting off the ebay listing!

That is so annoying that the guy said he didn't want them, did you file a dispute, that way you can get your final value fees back if he either doesn't answer on the 8th day after the dispute was opened or if he replies and says he doesn't want them you can end the agreement and he will get a strike and you get your fees back. Sometimes you can mutually agree not to complete the transaction but once I did this and the person said they didn't agree so I didn't get my fees back that is why I don't agree to those any more.

2 of my items sold today Good price as well, it's the same buyer, so I hope he pays soon! If not I'll be annoyed!

I have 4 items still listed ending next Sunday and 3/4 has bids so far!

Hi - I have just listed my 5 items for today. It seemed to take me forever to do it...
Did my 5 yesterday too, I had lots of questions for one item as I didnt list the size, now lots of watchers for it...:T

I Had a big sort through yesterday as the weather here was so awful and found some old school uniform to freecycle too, and stuff for an upcoming nct sale.
So far I have just one item to send tomorrow - a double cd. I hope that it wont cost too much more than a single to post - Ill let you know tomorrow!!

I hope that all are doing well. I have decided to spend some of my paypal earnings in ebay. My daughter (with me!) is making presents for the teachers, so I will need bags and chocolate foils. We are going to be making fudge, and chocolate amonite fossils for her class teacher. Yumm. :EasterBun

Evening All

Well I said I wanted to list 21 items per week (av. 3 per day), and I listed 19 yesterday, so go a few chores still to do tonight and I will hopefully list my final 2 later on. So far I've got 3 watchers on the 19 items, it is mostly CDs, pair of my boys football boots, a winter jacket and little boys clothing. Hope everyone else it doing well.

I want to reach my £149.99 by about 10th when Play.com will probably try and take their money for the Guitar Hero I've ordered. I have got £31 being transferred to my paypal this week from Quidco, so here's hoping for a good ebay week,

Thanks. I think one othe guys must have read my rant cos he paid! I filed 2 disputes against the other guy, and we cancelled the transactions. He said he didn't have any money in his account. I e-mailed him to say that if he had just let me know then I wouldn't have filed the dispute - I'm not the type of person to hassle someone over a grand sum of £1.98 (that was the total for both items). Anyway, sold a DVD today

Haven't listed anything today, have not been very well. Not sure what to do really. I have gall stones and need to have my gall bladder removed (it's inflamed and has multiple stones). Anyway, woke up at 4am this morning with awful chest pains, didn't eat anything that I haven't eaten before so not sure why it happened, it was nearly as bad as the day I went to A&E at the end of June. Hospital have given me a date of 28th January (Consultant put me down as Urgent!!) for my op and put me on the cancellation waiting list so could get a call any time with a date which could be at short notice.

Obviously I don't want to have lots listed and then have problems and get admitted to hospital so might just list stuff on Buy It Now in my business account so that if I do have to rush off to hospital any time I can just put my holiday settings on and no one will be able to buy anything. Such a shame as I have the 5p offer for the next week - just sod's law.
