Still at it...:rotfl:
I got my credit card bill today:eek: which was a bit steep...Although I have payments from buyers on ebay going into paypal, that money isnt transferred back to my credit card. How do I do that?
It may also stop me from spending on ebay !lol
cheers, LHB0 -
You can transfer your paypal money to your bank (4 working days it takes, roughly). Then from there you can pay off your credit card!
I'm listing more items tomorrow evening for a Sunday finish. They're more likely to get higher bids that way (a little tip from Martin), and it seems to work! I have to ending Sunday, one bid each with quite a few watchers0 -
It's actually 2 bids now! Just checked it for the first time in about 6 hours.0

Morning everyone! Well, I had a very productive day yesterday, managed to get 19 items listed on ebay,(took me 3 hours to list them and the books on greenmet:eek: ) no bids or watchers so far though!
Does anyone know, can you change the listing time once they are listed - ie: increase 5 day listing to 7 day?0 -

Hi, well done on listing 19 items, I relisted 27 yesterday so only took 5 mins once I adjusted the start prices as I use Turbolister.
I got the 5p listing offer on my other private ID so am going to be listing some stuff on that one later and for the next week, am so happy, I have 6 boxes of stuff sitting next to me to get listed and hopefully sold, there is so much stuff in our house and our Annex that needs to go so am going to make sure I get cracking and try and sell a lot.
Re the changing length of listings, Ebay don't let you do this anymore, unless you are reducing days ie listed for 10 days but want to change to 7 or 5, it is a pain as it used to be good that you could extend the auction if you had no watchers or bids, but one of the many changes Ebay have made.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
I'm catching up slowly. At 5 since a day I should have done 40 by the end of today. I've done 21 so far.
I'm going to list some/most tonight on 7 day auctions. May also list some tomorrow, and definitely again on Sunday. I'm going for prices I would like to get, but am not sure if I will. That way, if they do sell, then yay! If they don't, I can then list them cheaper in 7 days when it's still 5p listing
Sold 2 of my Amazon Marketplace listings this week so that's good.0 -

hate going to see stroppy lady and queue at local postoffice with many people tutting as I have so many parcels.
Stroppy lady has a cheek and so do the tutting folk in the queue! If it wasn't for people like us, actually using their Post Office, it would probably be a lot higher on the list of those about to be closed down. Then they'd all have something else to tut about, wouldn't they!Strumpet(in a cross mood at other folks' rudeness!!!!)NIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00

What gets me, is that despite the tutting, me posting 5 parcels could actually be quicker than someone who hasn't even sealed their envelope yet, doesn't know how they want to post their letter, and then pays by card very slowly... or those doing passport applications and stuff like that.0

I have a small Post Office at the end of my road so what I do is this. Wrap all the parcels, if I have lots I weigh them on my scales, when I go in I get one weighed say 2nd class packet costing £1.24 and I say I have X amount, like today I had 7 that were £1.24, he printed me off 7 at £1.24, I paid him then queued up again for the other 5 parcels I had once I'd stuck the 7 labels on the parcels, there was only 1 person waiting so it wasn't so bad. Then I had two at £1.63, one at £2.08, one large letter at 78p etc.
Sometimes when the other guy is there (they are brothers) he suspends the first ones I do and then when I've queued up again he calls up the total of the first ones and adds the second lot so I can pay together.
It is a pain if there are long queues but my PO never has long queues in the afternoons so I can more or less get all mine done at once before any one else comes in.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
