eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

Hi. I just logged into my other Private ID and noticed the information box in the top right hand corner had about the 5p listing days, does this mean I've got an invite and can list for 5p? I haven't got that on my other private ID the one I use at the moment.

I didn't have a message in my Ebay Inbox or my e-mail Inbox for the account registered to that Ebay ID as I haven't used it for a while and there were no e-mails in there (hotmail account).

Really hoping I can list stuff for 5p as I have so much stuff to get rid of, have 3 boxes of stuff (1 big, 2 small) and lots more stuff.

Listed 3 items today. Probably not having my op until December so have a month or so to get lots listed and sold.

Hi tmd, does a detailed advert about the 5p listings come up when you first sign in which you can then press to continue through to your account? If so, then you are invited. My email invite didn't come through until the next day. You coudl always email eBay (good luck with that!)

No I don't get a message when I log in before I go to my Ebay page, but I do get the little box on the top right hand corner of the screen and I don't get that on any of my other 3 accounts.

I'll try to list something on that account tomorrow and see what happens. Really hope I can get 5p as I have so much stuff to get rid of, plus I need to make some money before my op (schedule for 18 December at the mo but am on the cancellation list).

quite pleased

going to aim to get about 5 a week on, feels like my whole life has been ebay for the last 2/3 weeks and i have not really sold much.

I'll be listing more stuff tomorrow. I've got the pictures and descriptions all ready to go! I want them to end on a Sunday, so I'll be putting them on a 10 day listing.

My 2 Classic Doctor Who DVDs have a bid each at the moment with 5 and 7 people watching them Hopefully they should fetch a decent price as there are very few of the dvds on ebay on auction style.

Had yet another email from eBay about the 5p listing day. I guess it has confused people not knowing if they were invited. Can anybody not see the 5p listing advert anywhere on their screen?

tmd - yes I would list an item and see if it comes up with 5p..and if it does get ready for major listing!

My PC, the one that keeps crashing, is now getting the blue screens so think the problem is not sorted and it is getting worse. All my photos are on there and so I have used Picasa to put them 'on the web' and fingers crossed I shall be able to collect them from my laptop. I hope so because otherwise I have no piccies for my listings tomorrow ..

Hope the things I list this time are actually going to sell/make more than 99p. However it was nice seeing 5 parcels going out this morning. There's just a long way to go before I get some space back. In fact I might take a before and after piccie of the eBay room and post it in December.

Lexx, I know exactly what you mean but I figured that it is only for another 6 weeks and then I should have made a big dent in my clutter and put a nice little sum in the bank (once I have found the holiday money) - that's me trying to keep motivated as I am sick of it already :rotfl:

oh well.....dunno maybe its a good thing....i can take my time and just list a few a week & actually have a life:p

Hi, just done 6 listings and realised that it is 5p listing day :j am going off to the loft to see what else I can rustle up to list! Am checking my dvds before listing them to make sure there are not too many of the same listed and am going to check amazon and may list some on there too.

Not sold anything on Greenmet yet but on ebay I have now made £65 in just over a week :beer:

oh i like the sound of the spreadsheets! any1 wana pm me with one? also i sold concert tickets there - got £100 for 2 tickets & ebay charged my £6 odd final value fee!! Gutted! Ah well had to get them sold!!!

also got 13 items ending 2moro - only got bids on 2 of them...:mad:
