eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

Just sold my first book on greenmet really pleased:T

Got 19 items on ebay at the moment but only one selling so far, some of them have watchers though so hope will sell - don't you just hate it when they do that and just bid at the last minute:mad:

maybe also mention that you will be in hospital few days and people will be a bit more sympathetic & patience, if there are delays

Yep, it is a bit annoying, but then again I do that when I'm buying so I know I can win it! Although I bid straight away if there's no one bidding on it.

I've got 3 items selling within one bid each, ending Sunday and 1 with no bids or watchers I knew that one would be more difficult to sell anyway, but I'm hoping someone buys it!

I wouldn't want people to know that I wasn't in my house though - there are some very strange people out there. I had a psycho a few months back who kept on calling me, putting the phone down and then sending me emails saying things like 'you coward for not picking up the phone'. Really worried me at the time.

Perhaps you can put that you are recovering from an operation?

I know that there is the 5p insertion promotion going on but do we think that there will be another cheap listing day before Christmas? I just feel that I should be concentrating on my higher value items this week but all I can see around me is the cheap tat that needs a cheap listing day.

I know it is only a guess....perhaps I'm being a little too hopeful.

Thanks everyone, have decided not to list anything just in case I'm not well or they can't do keyhole and have to cut me open, would rather not worry about anything. Going to list a few things in my Business account so I can turn the holiday settings on when I need to and turn them off again when I'm feeling a bit better, at least then I'll have stuff already listed.

Not sure if they will have another cheap listing day, they should do for Business sellers and Powersellers as they have missed out on the last two.

Hopefully will sell lots of stuff at the end of Nov/beginning of December.

Morning all, I'm sitting here faffing as little one asleep and the other is at playschool. Will have to get up in a minute and move some things around!

tmd - agree that you will be in a better position not having to worry about listings while you recover.

Lexx - yes my psycho was from eBay. I used my instinct and for various reasons refused to post the items to her. She went and did it to somebody else who contacted me. I told them what had happened. She reported them and being a big Powerseller managed to get them deregistered. They just opened another account though.

However 99.9% of the buyers are great.
