Does anyone know if the Tesco misprice policy covers non-grocery internet orders?

If it does - a link would be really useful. Thanks. :)

I don't think that it actually works on the internet at all.

  • Just had a right hullabaloo at our local tesco re the Xbox games!

They would not R&R them as the SEL was correct and they say the poster does not mean that the top 15 are all under £29.97!!

They claim the poster means 'some are under £29.97' and then they are just listing the top 15.....the two are not related.
The manger removed the poster and stated that it was incorrect and misleading but refused the R&R as did HO when i called them from the CS desk.....not happy!

    Any suggestions now?
TESCO R&R was so much fun!.. Over a grand made!
  • I went to my local tesco's today and had a look round for the camcorder, my tesco has an electrical area but within that area is an entertainment desk, they had camera's and camcorders on display behind. I'm assuming you choose what you want and the sa gets it and charges you there.

The cheapest JVC was £228/9 anyway so it looks like they are not taking part in the promotion. Here was I looking on the shop floor for cardboard displays but none the less it looks like it was a non starter from the off as I would imagine if someone had been overcharged they would point it out to the entertainment sa right away?

does anyone have any experience with an entertainment desk as I have discribed, have you ever been overcharged when the price is right behind the sa?

I went into the Slough store today and when I tried to scan a few items I discovered that none of the scanners were working. Is this a ploy to stop people from checking the barcodes before going to the till and getting a R+R?
  • [QUOTE=I have been to Walkden, Horwich and Atherton where they didnt have them or had been removed

    Good luck[/QUOTE]

    Hi everyone.
I work for Tesco in Atherton and this forum has become quite a buzz around the staff at our Store. I've emailed the address to about 8 of my working friends just this afternoon. I've lost count of how many staff chased me for the address or called me over for it. One of my closest friends at work works as one of the ppl who sorts out our price(s) labels. He joked upon hearing about this site that he'll be reading it later and chuckling to himself "that's my fault.....that's my fault....and that!"
I must say we are passing it round as much as we can and love how you guys are letting all the info be known. We are laughing amongst ourselfs and looking out for the big bargains ourselve!
This is probably gonna give my own mum a headache as she is a Customer Service Assistant! :rotfl:
    Thanks ever so much!
    SirTerry.
