Oh for crying out loud.
Adam's post could have been phrased more gently, but he's right. Personal attacks like Norman's are not allowed on most forums, and uninformed questions in the wrong place would get the same response on most forums.
Can we close this thread please mods?
edit: or merge it in like you've done....0 -

He also says this though:
Ask a question or start a discussion Before you do that, do check your topic hasn’t already been covered, either by scanning through the threads or using the search function (see below).
This isn't me having a go, I'm trying to illustrate how annoying it can be to other users, that's why I suggested a FAQ a few posts up.0 -

No, I just don't see why someone has to be spoon fed when all of the information they require is within the first 2 pages of this forum. There is a very comprehensive explanation to every element of this policy that redfox has provided to eliminate the same type of posts being repeated time and time again. It just means that the post becomes diluted due to someone who cannot be bothered to search, which means the rest of us have to wade through posts of rubbish before we find the information relavent to the policy.
I stand by my comment, being new is not an excuse for laziness.0 -

Now, that's gotta be worth knowing. Very handy if you;ve had a rough ride at CS......0 -

i don't think for a minute ya having a go hun, i know what ya mean, when i was BG'ing it got terribly frustrating when folk posted about the same thing over and over again, it can and does bug some members when it happens, but has i always used to say to anyone that pm'd me angry about it, it only takes a quick pm to me to merge the threads, no harm done
right , i'll !!!!!! off now and let ya all get back on topicNobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission
