The poster stated 'from £29.97'. Most games were £32.97 except for Prince of Persia, which was at the offer justifying £29.97.
You sure it says 'under' and not 'from' on your photo. I would have imagined these posters are sent out from the central HO.
My store still says UNDER not from0 -
Interestingly, the posters vary from store to store. I have today seen two different chart posters, in a normal and an extra store. The normal store poster had misprices (Duran Duran, Streets, Razorlight) and the extra one had none, those titles not even in the top 100.
For the record, michael jackson no 1's scans at £4.97 now, and Keane IS reduced to £5.97. Kingdom of Heaven has disappeared completely from the stores near me.0 -
I have noticed that too. I went to 2 stores and found that both posters were different. I have also found that over the last few weeks that when a cd or dvd is on offer they will put them in little stands away from the chart sections. Then when the price goes back up the following week the SEL is not removed which leads to a misprice for me.
Anyone else found this?0 -

I noticed exactly that last night. 3 Stores visited and only the smallest had the misprice chart. Took advantage where I could and where they hadn't aready tip-exed the prices off the poster. You really would think that these plebs would check the whole poster when someone takes them for an R&R rather than just the one they'd been done for. Still, all the better for those of us with eagle eyes.0 -

Either you report it to Trading Standards and get them finned, citing the many posts on here as evidence of it being a common problem and not just an isolated incident. TS ought to be able to fine them around £2k per Item, if they can be arsed.
Buy a copy of all games that a illegally priced and argue the toss at CS until the cave in - in my expericence you won't get any help from HO on this.
Leave it alone, move on and let Tesco continue to break the law and overcharge other people.
From my experience of this in the last week, I would gladly let Trading Standards have a go, but possibly after I had been done buy the deal and then go in a few days later and complain - after TS have paid a visit. Get a friend to report to TS so that it's not obvious.
I'm really out to get some justice on this one (can you tell?).0 -

Oh, yes, It says "Under". There's no arguing the fact. Indeed even the store manager agreed that it was wrong! That's why it's such an annoyance to have the R&R refused, they know its wrong and the probably know that there's not a lot I can do about it execpt get a full refund.
I am not going to let this one go though. Some letters to HO and the store making it clear that they have broken the law are being drafted.0 -

I think the lesson is this:
For the less contentious mis-price (e.g. wrongly stickered CDs and meat with wrong weight on SELs) go for it - CS can't really argue any case in context with the R&R policy.
With the more unconventional misprices - like the XBOX games - you have to be prepared to probably argue (politely!) for ages - CS will either get fed up and issue R&R - or if you've had enough and don't really want the product - take a refund and wait until next time!
The last thing I would personally do would be to walk out of Mr Ts with a product that I don't really want and start a long-winded dialogue with Head Office or Trading Standards....
....prefer to concentrate on the next mis-price

Sorry, but why does that make any difference to the prices charged in the store.
If the poster is displayed in the store and the items are on sale in the store under the poster, is it not understandable to assume the price also refers to the items in store.
In any case I personally don't remember seeing any reference to Tesco.com on the poster.
Can't understand why they don't just refund my money, would be much less trouble.
I will persevere though.
What utter carp! (sic).
They know fool well that they're wrong and they're just dreaming up stories to suit. I really think that all those of us who have been deceived by this UNDER poster should be getting together and attacking Mr T for this constant breaking of the law and then refusing to follow their advertised policy, thus breaking the law again.
Please PM me if you'd be willing to put your names to a joint letter to Mr T to see where that gets us.0 -
To be honest, if everyone who has an issue wrote to Watchdog im sure the complaints would build up and something would be done.
Last night they had Audi on, after receiving 50 complaints about the TT. Im sure in a couple of weeks we would have 50 complaints about the policy.0 -
Well my letters have been typed, I got a prepaid postage envelope from CS in Walkden to Tesco in Dundee and the other letter is going to the local trading standards office.
I just have to post them later today
I will be off to a few stores to see what they have left mispriced that ended on the 24th I think there was a pc in a few stores0
