Some you win and all that - C'est la vie. Plenty more stores in the locality.
plus everytime something like this happens it makes you better prepared for the next hurdle.
When I get hassle (apart from yesterday when I was stressed) it makes me more determined to make Tesco adhere to their policy.
If they can't get the prices right - which they obviously can't (look at the size of the current and historic misprices threads) - and they make the "in the unlikely event things don't add up promise" - and they then try every trick to wriggle out of it - only makes me try harder.....
.....although I do now feel paranoid at my usual store!

I must admit I've been followed by (plain clothes) security guards in the past and it is quite funny!DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

I got followed round blackpool last weekend I am obviously on their most wanted list [see misprice thread for today]. OH says it is quite funny seeing a little grey haired NannaC suddenly go all anarchist dancing up and down every aisle picking up lots of items like a demented Morris dancer. Must admit I have never had so much fun in ages. All that walking made my legs ache though, will have to get some serious Norah Batty thick lisle support stockings0

Was a few weeks back in Southport. I popped in after dropping OH at at work to get things for lunch, and was looking at the newly put up offers.
After checking a couple of things that didnt have SELs at scanners I had the most obvious plain clothes security guard in the world following me round. Quite why he was interested in checking the fish food section after I'd bought weebl and bob (my goldfish) some new food, I don't know :IDONE: Great North Run 09! Used to work in Sketchleys in a Sainsburys Store.
Every Wednesday I think it was, the same person would spend 8 hrs walking around the store. Was a right laugh watching, v.unsubtle.0 -
This sounds like fun i must play the spot the stalker game next time i go to tescos!"what lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us" Ralph Waldo Emerson0

Trading Standards are USELESS.
The called me back today and explained that there is absolutely nothing they can do unless they actually witness the offense! What's the sodding point in that?
So, we seem to have a choice. Either we take what we can from Tescos or we call trading standards the moment we see them breaking the law and hope that they get an officer there before they have it drawn to their attention.
I have to say that this stinks. I have photographic evidence that a poster saying XBox games UNDER £29.97 and a recipt showing two at £32.97. Nobody is disputing that the poster existed - the store manager even admitted to me that the poster was deceptive, effectively agreeing that I had been deceived - BUT NOBODY IS PREPARED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

Checked out the games section in my local Tescos tonight.
The poster stated 'from £29.97'. Most games were £32.97 except for Prince of Persia, which was at the offer justifying £29.97.
You sure it says 'under' and not 'from' on your photo. I would have imagined these posters are sent out from the central HO.-=Mr-J=-0
