Well I knew there was a PC ended on the 24th so I have traveled to a few stores today in search for a misspriced one, only Stockport had them and the yellow SEL was still there at £398 the scanners were on and ready not working. I was carrying this pc round the store trying to find a working scanner. I think I attracted attention to myself and I had 2 members of staff following me 1 one them was asking the other what was going on and I heard her tell him that there are people looking for mispriced items and we have to give them a refund if they mention one of our policys. the other person did go on about why not just refund the difference and she explained the policy to him.

Looks like I need to avoid Stockport for a while

Ohh the Goodmans portable DVD player doesnt have an expiry date on the SEL doesnt look like that will come up on r+r

Irlam still has the UNDER £29.97 xbox posters up if anyone wants to give it a try, 50 cent, Half life and 007 are all marked at £32.97. ALL the other stores have removed the posters.

    So did you get one?

And what were you doing to the Salad bar? :D

I used to meet a friend once a week in the Pizza Hut and shared a small pizza and salad bowl. We decided to have a competition to see who could get the most salad in a bowl without spillage!

Eight weeks in to the competition, I was getting rather good at it, constructing elaborate side extensions to the bowl out of cucumber using gratedcarrot and bluecheese as a mortar, and cherry tomatoes as a foundation to underpin it.

Sadly the "management" didn't like us taking half their salad bar in one bowl and were particularly galled by the fact that on the 8th week we couldn't manage to eat all the salad and asked for a "doggy bag" (as per company policy) to take the rest home. This resulted in a life time ban (after a rather heated conversation)!

Luckily the salad stacking skills are not easily forgotten and 10 years later I am still able to layer a pretty mean salad in Harvester et al. One day I hope to pass these skills on to my children and return to Pizza Hut Worthing with my head held high!

A tad off-topic but does anyone know if you can take an item of clothing back to any Tesco store or does it have to be the one you originally bought it from? Thanks (and sorry - won't do it again!)

I've returned to another store with no problem, as long as you have your receipt.

    Rufus.

I learnt this skill at uni...works fantastically if they make carrot and cucumber sticks rather than slices.

Don't you find though that it loses its appeal at Harvester where you can go back for as much salad as you want and not the bargain days of all in the bowl for 89p (10 years ago + student cafe).

    But Pizza Hut...now there's a thought...
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

a bit like me an nanna c....she argued over the coffee last week, I had got something the week before so was "marked"..we then went outside and the car would not start.

As I am waiting for the new RAC deal thing to start I have no cover...so best smile on and asked if they would call RAC for me

we also need to avoid Stockport
