Does it say anyuthing about free tapes with it though - according to my store u are supposed to get the pack of tapes (displayed on the same stand but not in the same box) free - and they don't scan for free - so would still be a misprice if u pick up both IYKWIM

Just been to Norwich, blue boar lane store and they have sel of £229.88 and couldn't see anything about free tapes either, no free camera for me
  • Just noticed in my local store in N.ireland that some turkey fillets were mispriced something like £7.99 per kg on product and £4.99 per kg on sel. However they had stuck a yellow and white label on to the product indicating the £4.99 per kg but had not reduced the price.
Surely this is illegal as they were originally weighed and priced at £7.99 per kg.
    Anyone any ideas?

So the original price is say £5, when weighed at £7.99 per kg?

The £5 has not changed, but there's a sticker saying £4.99 per kg?

Yup, it's an R+R unless it comes up with a new price at the till.

I've had butternut squash R +Rd becuase of this...the till weighed it at the cheaper per kg, but still came up with the same price at the higher price per kg...so didn't actually weigh it at all!

For the record, the Keane CD now scans at the correct price.
Also don't be fooled into going for the Blink 182 GH CD, as it scans at 6.97, not the higher poster price of 9.97.

Cherries plentiful and very tasty though :)

Has anyone got Kingdom of Heaven DVD since it was posted, just want to confirm scan price?

my brother bought the whole thing, 'walked out of the shop', 'walked back in' and went to customer support and pointed out the error on the receipt

    kinda common sense really!

once you have paid for the item, you have them by the short and danglies, if you haven't paid for it, you're merely pointing the error out to them and they have no obligation to give it to you!

What i meant was pay for the camcorded at normal checkout, or the electrical desk checkout till? Because you only have an empty box at normal checkout dont you?

Yup, same as me. No mention of free tapes either.

I would ask for the box and then pay at the normal counter. At the leccy counter they are more likely to change the price at the till...
