My own view is that if you wouldn't have genuinely bought it, then don't do it for the sake of it.0 -

Lol, so you're the one quick off the mark at Leyland! What I meant was with the posters, Leylands posters for some reason don't have any of the 'reduced' prices on, they're 'priceless' so to speak.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

Hi guys
I'm trying believe me to get some R&R but I think my Tesco must have the best error free staff in the UK or something as I can never find anything
Anyway can I ask you guys how you check to see if the R&R will work before going through the till.
Obviuously I do not want to spend XXX amount on something if it scans at the correct price and I can't get it for FREE
Thanks

Either use an instore scanner... or this:-
me: "why did you buy grapes? we bought grapes yesterday."
gf: "oh, i'll put them back then"
this after seeing they were priced correctly at the till. :rotfl:0 -

This discussion should probably be in the misprice policy discussion area.
My Tesco doesn't have a scanner, so you just need to be watchful at the till and see what price comes up on the display when your mispriced item is scanned. If it comes out at the lower price, just tell the cashier you've changed your mind and you don't want the goods. I usually say that I've realised I haven't got enough room for it in my freezer if it's meat.0 -

In Tescos in Dundee the manager who gave me the discount, immediately told someone to remove the poster and then went on the phone to the other Tesco Stores in Dundee (I presume or it may have been headoffice). This is probably why you can't find any of these bargains - I have checked all other mispriced stuff that is listed and in all stores in Dundee the prices are correct - so someone else has obviously found them first!0 -

(Tescos Leyland never have wrong CD prices however) but I'm sure this isn't the stores fault, and we all by now know we're going to be charged the SEL price, not the poster price.mcbain wrote:oh they do - I got the no1 old school album on Sunday and Pop Party 3 a couple of weeks ago.
Leyland are red hot-found nothing in audio/electrical last Friday but CS helpful with the few CD R&R's I've had there recently. Hard to check with no scanner though0 -
I have just got a PS2 game(shadow the hedgehog) SEL £17.47-scanning at £19.47.I accompanied the CS lady to the SEL which she removed, back at the desk she did all the relevant stuff on the till & handed me £2.50.I then said "shouldnt i get the goods+a refund as per your policy" she replied "what do you mean,i have never heard of this".I then said "i had some steak about 14 days ago where i was overcharged,& the CS lady gave me a R&R"."Oh she replied it must be right then",now i KNOW this lady is on the CS desk regular & she is definately aware of the policy. She then gave me the R&R with a look that could freeze you from 500yds.0

Hi guys i was wondering if you could help me? Im a bit confused about the price per kg on meat. I recently tried to get a R&R on some lovely beef as the SEL had a lower price per kg than the pack. But when i bought it the price i was charged was the price on the pack. My question is, can you get a R&R for being overcharged when you pay the pound sterling price that is on the pack because the price per kg is wrong?:dance:0

They arn`t that hot - you just have to catch them right. I saw misprices that I didn`t want there today but left them in favour of Whole chicken, Chicken Fillets & Sirloin steak that was for tea! (and for free)
I have seen and had refunded a few items in electrical in Leyland over the last couple of weeks including the 3mb cheap digital camera and the Braun blender.
Took 4 packs of healthy living chicken to the CS as it had a £2.97 label on & £2.38 SEL. Young CS manager type said "we have a bulk buying policy of only 2 of the same items across the store."
So I said "shall we walk down to the tills so I can watch you make every one with over 2 tins of Beans or Catfood or anything else put them back then?"
At which point he decided to study his shoes in great detail. :rotfl: what a farcical statement.0
