R & R is Refund and Retain
The Policy is behind the CS desk - large blue board with writing on0 -
Refund and retain. It means if you are overcharged, you get a full refund and the product for free. You'll find the policy displayed on a huge blue board behind the CS desk. It starts with something along the lines of:
" And if things don't add up..."In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
Cover up all the pain in your life
With our new product range.
So please don't feel blue - let us show you how
To talk yourself into a good mood right now.
Feeling sad is no longer allowed,
No matter how worthless you are.0 -

I know theres a thread on morrisons bad pricing but that more depends on your store whereas tesco tends to be countrywide.A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it

i have to get this out of my system and need advice on what to do next here goes. when driving into my usual store today (chorley) i noticed a banner i quote 'All clothing Sale items 1/2 original price or less www.Tesco.com/clothing'
after buying a top that cost more than half price in the sale i went to the clothing desk to see what they had to say, they were really busy so i went away and came back an hour later. When i explained to the girl about the banner her respose was 'the signs in here don't say that and the banner says up to 1/2 price' i quickly corrected her that 'up to' was never mentioned in the sign. after another few minutes of me trying to prove my point she said these are the signs that count. i left by saying ok then i will just put in writing.
it continued i was so angry about the way in which she spoke to me i headed downstairs to customer services and again explained my story. The girl from clothing was asked to check the sign. after doing so she said that offer only applies online.
surely not! where do i stand somebody help me!0 -

Contact Head Office Customer Relations - Freephone 0800 505555 - explain what happened - you ARE entitled to R&R - signs outside the store do count.
Keep trying till you get a helpful dude at Head Office - ask them to contact the store - or send you an e-mail confirming your right to R&R.
Good luck!!

i saw that sign at chorley on monday - but i didn`t fancy a row with CS, as all the managers there now know me and one smarmy bar steward follows me around the store. you should definately call H.O. YOU ARE RIGHT, and i can almost guarantee that chorley will have now taken the banner down, which basically admits they are at faultLead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -
i thought the same thing so i took a photo of the banner on my phone0
