I would be very wary of going to the scanner before I go to the till to purchase. Because if they see you scanning an expensive item like a Goodmans tv they will rush to alter the stickers on the shelf before you have a chance to go through the till beating us to it. And that would be a shame.

lol but thats just what i did! the store was so busy nobody noticed and CS tried to fob me off with £10 difference and £5 goodwill gesture but i was like "no way" lol. hope to get a little for it on ebay and then thats going off of one of my credit cards! i think 2006 is going to be a great year!

Just got an x-box SEL 97.93 charged 99.97. CS girl called manager, then walked off with him for a chat!!. He then came and told me that they can only refund upto 20.00 before they have to get HO approval. Told me to go away and take it up with them in writing, I said this was no good and asked them to call HO which they did but they are closed till the 3rd. He then asked if I'd left the shop with the goods and I told him I barely got out of the door before I realised I'd been overcharged. He then said some people actually put the SEL up thereselves, they had this problem with the 498.00 computers which were reduced to 478.00, when the price went up again someone had put there own SEL of 478.00 to claim a refund. Told him this is not my problem and wasn't leaving this till Ho re-opened, he said he would have to speak to another manager and before I knew they asked for my card to refund my money. Took about 20mins all in all but got my r & r in the end.
Oh she didn't write on my receipt refunded so would I be able to return it and get my money back???

got one of those starter pc's earlier wiht a 17" samsung monitor. Had a label that ran out on the 24th. got r+r

£359.99 r+r and no arguing.

1 little thing though, he came back aske dofr my card and said ok ill refund it, i said how much. he saidd the £50. then i stated the promise behind him and he went to see his manager again. came back and said, ok. you can have it all back

yeah, but you'd be crossing over from a legitimate enterprise to one of criminal fraud. I'd bet tesco cs would just love getting you banged up for 3 months in the local nick!
