While waiting at CS for about 10 min a couple came up with a PLAYSTATION 2 in their mits ,a bit anoyed that the sel was something like£94.97 and the product scanned at £117.97
I nearly died when it registerd in my brain what they had just complained about
Unless you sell me that ps2 for £94.97 I wont be happy thats misleading...

I expect you got your ps2 free did you not also fight the case of the others or at least tell them point out the policy and stand by them,0 -
after getting my freebies I went to the ps2 isle but a member of staff was just taking one down (only 2 on shelf).I tried scanning xbox but that was right. I told them the r+r but they had not even paid for it then so what can you do0

Say if a poster says a very low price and gives an expiry date on the poster aswell but the poster is there the day after it expired, is that counted as misguided pricing?since tesco can argue that the expiry date is on the poster and I should have looked?is the trick to getting a misprice to go the morning of the day after the offer expires before they have had the chance to take the posters down?ashy_mashy wrote:No5. What if the tesco manager disagrees that they have such a policy, how do I show them that I am right?ashy_mashy wrote:No6. when there is a misprice in one town, will there be the same misprice in all tescos across the country?ashy_mashy wrote:No7. when something is scanned with the wrong price, do I tell the till person or do I wait till I've paid and take the reciept to customerservice?ashy_mashy wrote:No8. I have heard alot of people getting free CDs, which ones are mispriced and how can I tell they are mispriced?
Above all don't be too greedy and buy more than you need. Buying more than one of any item may attract attention and some stores have a 'bulk buy policy' restricting the number of items you can purchase (or more likely get a refund on) to 2, 4 or 6 items (varies from store to store).
Remember to always be polite but firm. People have been escorted from the store by security and some banned so don't give them any excuse for this. Happy hunting.

The best way to check is to use one of the blue price checkers sometimes found around the store. There is a list of locations of these on another thread.
Please do you have a link to the Price Checker locations thread, I've done a search but can't find it. Thanks0 -
Thanks Addy - I've never been in the Shop but Don't Drop area before. That's really useful.

what happens if the sign says that the offer ended on say the 24th of december? does that mean you cant use it against r+r?0

No - you can. They have to sell to you at the lowest displayed price, and, as a customer, it's not up to you to scrutinise the SEL to see if there's a sell-by date on it. They will try and argue otherwise, of course, but if you are firm, then you should be in luck and get your r&r.

i have seen one of those £50 off posters, if you buy the 17" samsung with the starter pc.
Might have to have a go and see if i can get it0 -
I have been looking through these pages for a while now, and it boggles me to why the CS people are always against customers getting R&R's.
Are they docked wages if they give R&R's? Surely there must be something around for them to be so obnoxious to customers who clearly have been overcharged?
I have been overcharged in the past, but I hate confrontations, and feel even though I will be right, I will be scrutinised infront of everyone.
Maybe someone who works at Tescos could enlighten me please?0
