Read the thread, why should we spend our time spelling it out for you if you're too lazy to do that? Are you going to bother reading a reply?

On topic: got two stickered CDs last night, Bon Jovi Crossroads and some Nirvana compilation, both scanned £14 something, stickered £9.77
  • About 5 years ago i got overcharged for a boys short teeshirt set was redused to a 3rd off but only got 25% off when i returned it to store was only offered a refund of the differance, but after i pointed out the poster behind them they called the manager who agreed that i was entittled to a full refund. I thought this had finnished till a few months ago when i spotted this thred i now wonder how many times i have been over charged since.

hokers - thank god everyone on this board isnt like you.

I didnt ask for a great deal, it probably took a minute for that response (a minute which I am very grateful for)

Sure maybe I could trawl though every page, or I could just hope that someone is friendly enough to help me- the whole basis of this board- helping others out.

Its not all about looking after number one. And insulting others by calling them lazy either.

I wont waste my time inuslting you, cos I honestly dont believe your worth it.

Thanks again windym - oh and look- this is a reply!
  • Well some like to help themselves more than others....
  • If anyone is near horwich extra tonight, just got a few cd's overcharged due to poster, cs did not remove poster so still available. The usual ones as previously mentioned this week. Hope this helps.

You start your post with I don't wanna trawl through 28 pages, i.e. can't be bothered, i.e. I'm too lazy to read the information myself, I want someone else to summarise it for me. Doesn't seem like too much of a stretch to suggest you're lazy.

In the time you took writing your post and followup whine at me you could have found the information in the thread anyway! The whole reason forums have FAQs and the like is to stop exactly that. We're all happy to answer an informed question but "I can't be bothered, someone else do it" drives me mad.

And I'm not just looking after number one, I'm making useful contributions to the board, as shown by the 37 thanks I've got. It's only a community if you put back.

So why not just say "check out the FAQ mate" instead of brandishing insults.

I dont believe I was lazy, you do- our opinions differ and I guess neither of others are going to argree.

I just dont think the way in which you go about 'advising' people is in the spirit of (what I have seen so far) a friendly forum.

Great, 37 thanks, im chuffed for you. Im guessin they didnt come from you advising people on how to make best use of the forum.

I will be sure to 'put back in' when someone ask me for help and I sure as hell wont be as arrogant as you.

Is there an FAQ or a "Beginner's Guide to mispricing" anywhere - if so, would someone be kind enough to post a link please?
  • If you look on the first post on this thread you will find a very helpful summary from Redfox.
    Good luck...

Did look at it - in fact, I trawled to through all the 28 pages, and also some on the prices thread (sad, I know :p ).

Still think a "Beginner's Guide" / FAQ could be useful because new folk will always come on and not know where to start - some people haven't even ever shopped at Tesco's.

I might pull something together - once I actually understand how it all works, since I am a total Tesco virgin! Planning to have my first encounter with Mr. T tomorrow, though ;)
