Hi Julie
I scan if I can. If not, then watch as they go through the till and if any go through at the right price, tell the cashier youve changed your mind on that one!0 -

This is my first post so please be gentle!
Seacroft Leeds Tesco Extra - War of the Worlds - on poster £12.76, charged £14.84
Miserable woman at CS would not refund, as this price was out of date(!) Got Manager and Head Office involved, but wouldn't budge. Think they are on dodgy ground - are we really expected to scrutinise posters / dispays; etc for dates? And HO told them to keep displaying the poster!
Was starting to feel slightly sorry for them, having got 3 Wet Wet Wet, 2 Stevie Wonder, Green Day, 2 Saturday NF, 80s and others I've forgotten. Not anymore - I'm desperate to get something else out of them now!0 -
we ought to go en mass to seacroft swamp the cs demanding r&r and invite local press they say "we check prices so you shouldn't have to " drawing attention to over prices is doing their job for them.they have their policies and should be made to legally stick to them.
keep up the good work jeffjeff after all we are not being paid
we do it for free0 -

They really should have refunded on the WOTW dvd, as they are displaying misleading price indications, contrary to the Consumer Protection Act. You are not expected to read the small print on those posters. Take the thing back and ask for a full refund, then pop down to Asda and buy it. It's £5 there (even though it's priced at £14.97 - scanning at £5).In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I actually just got it refunded ( but didn't get to keep it ). I feel like Anne Robinson and Nick Campbell together with Which magazine and a blaze of cameras wouldn't have got a refund on this. Got more determined to get refund when I saw attitude of CS woman to customers - one senior citizen was complaining that her multipack cat food had gone through 6 times instead of twice ( probably by cashier counting the number of tins instead of the number of multipacks ), and CS woman practically threw 20 odd pound at her!0 -

I’ve just had the same,
young lad on c/s tried to fob me off (good for you lamb and gfy pork) stood my ground he went and tried to get back up from manager I think, came back and was vary rude and slapped the cash in my hand , I had to laugh. Should have reported him might still.I will try to catch him again tomorrow as he didn’t take the SEL.
I love this game Mr T !!!!!
Every time we go in my best half says you playing today , yes if they wont to and pick another trolley , puts fun into shopping I love it, but new chest freezer near full of lambs legs and sirloin so I may have to look at cd’s and computers for a while.0 -
loads of cds wrongly priced on the posters lots have been mentioned, but i found some that have yet to be mentioned

i rang c/s about out of date posters, and they said even if the ticket is out of date and is still displayed on the shelf, you wont get a r &r, even though tescos are to lazy to take it off the shelf. (this only applies to offers with dates on) boo tesco0

Incidentally, last week I got rnr on Batman Begins from an out of date poster. The cs lady phoned the manager and stressed to him that the date was covered by a big SEL sticking up in front of them, so maybe they have all been instructed to change their policy, and I was just lucky. Anyway, this week its the up to date posters they are having trouble with...
In one of my local stores on the steak from Brazil which fluctuates in price between £10 something and £7 something, they are now always displaying both prices for the same item, presumably to give them an excuse for not refunding on it.There always seems to be meat with both prices on the shelf. I haven't got the heart for an argument with them about it, but it seems to me that this would be no excuse as surely the lower price would be assumed to apply?0
