Watch out for the Stevie Wonder. I got caught today as the chart version of the definite Stevie WOnder, SEL 9.77 whereas on the other side they were showing what I thought was the same CD SEL 10.97, so I picked up some of them and price checked them. Sure enough, 10.97. However when I got to CS it turned out that the chart one was a new CD with a different barcode (at this point I noticed the cover was a slightly different shade of brown) so no R & R.0 -

Maybe it's a bit of both, I do believe consumers are doing Tesco a favour by participating in the advertising compaign and that consumer of course is rewarded by having R+R. What's ironic is consumers are actually FORCED to participate in the game of R+R in order to protect themselves from being overcharged.0 -
On one CD I was overcharged by £5.00, when you consider how many of these they actually sold and people didn't realise they were being overcharged, thats a lot of money for tescos just on one item.
How much of their profit comes from the amount people are overcharged.0 -

And don't forget the big posters they always have up saying they check 10,000 prices every week, so "you" don't have to!!!!
Aye rite
How many years have Tesco's been getting away with overcharging people, I don't see them rushing to say to me "you've shopped with us for 15 years and we reckon we have overcharged you approx 10% per week , so here is a nice big cheque in compensation"
It pi$$es me off to here some of the rubbish that "loyal" tesco workers come out with, are they just jealous that they aren't allowed to use the policy as well :xmastree:0 -
went to tesco to get the whole fresh lamb and discovered that sel price was £6.98 per kg but the price on the lamb was 4.99 that means i am paying less than sel price, can i still get refunds this way?

Nope, you cannot get a refund when you've been undercharged. You used to be able to, but Tesco changed the policy to overcharges only.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
